Where on that page does it say manual forward? |

Game Result
Anautikus’ Solo Smeagol w/ Ninja Gollum
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ Archery
Gollum gave me a tough time, and I was forced to single move all through region 2. Ithilien Blade took care of Shelob once, but Promise Keeping and Stinker took advantage of Boromir’s burdens. Not This Time! killed Faramir at site 5.
His choke did a good job of holding my archery in check, and Smeagol also rendered certain cards useless, such as Rapid Reload and Wielding the Ring. Elevated Fire and Howdah gave him more than he could chew, though, and the Mouth with EF at site 7 overloaded him with both wounds and burdens.
Good game! |

Game Result: NappyKorn vs Me || Winner: Me
His Faramir-WTG/NG vs my Refuge/Underground Swarm
Dropped 4 Orcs on him at site 4, Gorn died thanks to Frenzied Orc. Killed one Orc in archery, so Faramir survived, but it was over there.
Site 5 killed Faramir with three Orcs 24-7. GG. |

Game Result: Me vs NappyKorn || Winner: Me (barely)
MY: Fightin’ Frodo/ archery HIS: Frodo-WTG choke/ Swarm
I set up perfectly for my FP, and clobbered him all the way to site nine. That WTG can actually run...though, pretty close game. I wasn’t able to pull off any severe archery until region 3, because of the lack of twilight, but I made him take 3 burdens at six. In region three, 2 Caravan and 2 Howdah and some other guys threw out 7 archery, which made him take big burdens. he made a crucial mistake in not using Ranger of the North’s healing ability, barely survived corruption at site 8 from having to use the Great Ring w/ Frodo (Golden Perch Ale saved his life there), forced to double to nine or give me an easy move, three more minions, including 2 Fletchers at plains with Frodo at 11 burdens (Salt From the Shire) and both comps exhausted. Closest game I’ve ever been in.
FYI, for you big fellowship people, I have a secret ingredient for my deck that will obliterate you. Didn’t work vs NappyKorn, though. |

Hey, NBarden, mind PM’ing or posting that Fighting Frodo decklist?
I’ve made a halfway-decent one, but I don’t know how to take it up one more notch... |

Game Result
Shieldmaiden’s tokens w/ Corsair Swarm
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ archery
My deck cycled exremely well, and yet I didn’t get the Mouth (3 copies were in my deck) in my hand until site 7. Ouch.
Her corsairs beat up pretty badly on my companions, and I never took the lead on the site path. I played Mumak Commander and Elevated Fire a couple of times, along with Howdah and Archer of Harad, and by site 6 her entire fellowship was exhausted and Gimli was loaded with burdens. At the sanctuary, she healed most of her wounds and then made a safe trip to site 7.
Fortunately for me, she only played 2 minions at site 7 and I took care of ’em with Noble Leaders. On my site 7 reconcile, I finally got the Mouth and played him along with Archer of Harad and a couple of Pavises. In the archery phase, I played 2 copies of Elevated Fire for only , thanks to toil and the Pavises. Her fellowship was crushed.
Good game! |
