I like this one, although you should drop the penalty to two burdens, or wound him once. I see how you’re making him a short-term RB, but still...

Say, "If Deagol IS killed," not "about to be." Interesting drawback... Yeah, short-term R-B. Interesting, making the smeagol you want the R-B. I like it.

Changes made. Now for the minions.
First off, I did add a section to the first page about the sneak mechanic. You have to read it to understand most of the Gollums.
I was reading TT earlier, and I stumbled across a section from The Choices of Master Samwise, during Shagrat and Gorbag’s discussion. So...
•Ufthak, Forgotten One
Minion • Orc
Strength: 9
Vitality: 3
Site Number: 8
When you play Ufthak, you may exert him and spot Shelob to play a possession from your draw deck.
Regroup: Stack Ufthak on a possession to make the Free Peoples player wound a companion for each possession you spot (limit: 3).
"’She’d forgotten him, maybe, but we didn’t touch him’"
00R122
(you got a rarity, lore. But hey, it needed some, right? For something as colossal as this.)
Cirith Ungol Orc
Strength: 4
Vitality: 2
Site Number: 8
While skirmishing a wounded character, this minion is strength +4.
Regroup:Stack this minion on a possession to exert a companion.
00U123
•Shelob, Guardian of Cirith Ungol
Minion • Spider
Strength: 8
Vitality: 8
Site Number: 8
Fierce. Damage +1
Shelob is strength +2 for each possession you spot. (limit: +8 )
Shadow or Regroup: Discard Shelob and discard an Orc stacked on a possession to make the Free Peoples player exert a companion for each possession you spot (limit: 3).
00U124
•Gollum, Horribly Strong
Minion
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Sneak. (This minion is played facedown and is revealed at the beginning of its skirmish)
When Gollum is revealed, you may discard X Orcs stacked on possessions to make the Free People’s player exert X companions. (Limit: 3).
00U125
•Gollum, Treacherous Toad
Minion
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Regroup: Discard Gollum to play a minion from hand. That minion gains sneak until the end of the turn.
00C126
•Gollum, Servant of Shelob
Minion
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Sneak. (This minion is played facedown and is revealed at the beginning of its skirmish)
When Gollum is revealed, spot Shelob to wound a companion skirmishing Gollum.
00R127
And then a (somewhat) generic card. A minion follower.
•Gollum, Sneak
Follower
Strength: +1
Aid- Remove a threat
At the start of each skirmish involving bearer, exert a companion.
00R128
Next up, possessions. |

That mechanic has some problems. Like the fact of twilight pool. Although I suppose you could enforce it. Like by putting the tokens on top of the card. And if a person cheats, it’s easy to find out.

Hmm...I think it should probably stay in or culture, but it’s not a bad card. Nice card, though.

Ooh, ouch! A very interesting card. Maybe...maybe orcs could work.

00U124
Ouch! But then again, this Shelob’s not enduring! That’s interesting...and this Shelob can’t get as big as the others. But I like the card.

Nice! Very cool card. I like this new NG theme.
 •Gollum, Treacherous Toad
Minion
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Regroup: Discard Gollum to play a minion. That minion gains sneak until the end of the turn.
00C126
Hmm...I dunno if I’d use this one. Especially since you wouldn’t often have a minion in hand. Maybe "play from your discard"?
 •Gollum, Servant of Shelob
Minion
Strength: 0
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 3
Sneak.
When Gollum is revealed, spot Shelob to wound a companion skirmishing him.

That’s part of the reason its a common. But, its really good to stop a double, now you have to face a minion of unknown strength and damage if you move on...potentially fierce.
for the review. |

Actually, no. Remember, he’s a sneak. Which means that he gets revealed at the start of the skirmish involving him. This is really pushing it, as it could mean death to a companion. This is probably the most powerful Gollum ever designed, and thus I gave him a 0 strength. Of course, there’s whirling strike or red wrath, so do you think that maybe I should give him a 5 strength? |
