Heh. Me too.
I DO have the actual Three Hunters done, though. Just need to finish the other stuff. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Are they the only ones allowed to submit an awesome DC?

No, sorry Thran, you mustve missed the post, where DI and El tell me they make a habit of not submitting unless its a day before the deadline cos they work well under pressure! Hence my comments.
Please feel free to submit an awesome DC Thran! |

Well that makes a lot more sense! I had read the post, I just hadn’t connected the dots!
My DC will be coming shortly.

Designer’s Notes
History of the Weapon
Anglachel was forged by Eöl the Dark Elf. The iron from which the blade was forged came from a shooting star, which gave the sword the renowned ability of being able to cleave through iron that was mined from the earth. The blade was given to King Thingol of Doriath, where it remained unused until Beleg Cúthalion took the weapon on his hunt for Túrin Turambar. The blade was used by Beleg until he himself was slain with it by the hand of Túrin, who mistook him for an Orc. Túrin then took the blade, where it was forged anew by Elven smiths in Nargothrond, and named Gurthang. Túrin slew the Dragon Glaurung with the sword, and used the weapon to commit suicide shortly thereafter.
Culture
represents Doriath, an Elven city located east of Dor-lomin (Túrin’s hometown) and south of Gondolin (a hidden Elven city).
Card Design
This card was designed with Anduril-like stats; the twilight cost of , and the +2 strength bonus and +1 vitality bonus. To follow the story, the bearer is limited to either Beleg or Túrin. The skirmish ability goes along with the fact that Beleg was slain, but the sword received a new master. Plus, the last sentence of the blade’s text prevents a player from abusing the sword with Falls of Rauros.
