Awesome game, EL. It was actually kinda fun doing it on IM.
My Rainbow Wounding slaughtered every single minion of his. He couldn’t win a single skirmish.
His 3 Hunters + Gandalf were just stomping on my Swarms. I set off 2 sweet swarms, but he survived them easily.
The only way I won was double moving every single site. Since he went first, he could have done the same thing, but he stopped at site 4 (probably since his Freeps wasn’t totally set up at that point). |

Grr...played my bro again, using the Aragorn starter vs. Mauhur. Decked out again, and he got to Site 9 with an exhausted Gamling and an exhausted Frodo. Meanwhile, I had all my companions out, many unwounded.
I just realized how awesome of a combo Hunter Legolas, Aragorn, Swift Hunter and Focus is! |

i made changes to my deck and took on maxidoodles 3 hobbit deck again, i outran him to site nine with my fellowship of durin, gimli, gloin, sindri, brand, and grimbeorn. his nazzies couldn’t scratch my fellowship so i doubled 4 times while he only doubled 3 times.
I have to give him props however, he played his cards perfectly and was capable of cancelling nearly every skirmish that he was involved in, i still never had enough twilight to get more than 4 trolls out, and even then he used no visitors, humble homestead or tom bombadil to cancel em. nice game maxidoodle! |

Last night I did some play testing for a tournament that is coming up at the end of the month (I know, it is kind of sad when I am doing more prep for a movie block tournament than Worlds, but I think I care more about the tournament since it will be with people that I know and are good players). My deck very much surprised the person I was playtesting with. It ate his knights, had a tendency to slow roll Gondor and could outrun just about anything else out there. Quite fun! I wound up winning about 2/3 of the games with the deck which is pretty impressive. I won’t say more about it since I don’t know who from Houston and San Antonio visits these boards and I want the deck to be a surprise. |

i played AC again... my elves and aragorn archery/NG vs. his dwarves/corsair and moria swarm
it was a bad game for both freeps, however lucky we were doing. corsair maruaders discarded my bows (aragorn’s and galadriels). but my ng had been beating on his freeps, with no durin (cause of her ladyship) his other companions were about to be screwed. but at site four i played 3 companions, and gave out 25 twilight. he reconciled three times with under foot... needless to say it wasn’t pretty. galadriel got MASHED
but good game, AC. |

Good game! My Marauders really helped, dropping Aragorn’s Bow and 2 other bows. I love Under Foot! |

Well, I played 4 games this morning using my BRAND NEW Rohandalf/Uruk Swarm Bomb deck. Here are the results:
Game 1: Pipeweed Tank/Moria Swarm
First game I ever played with this deck, and wow it sets up fast. I was choking by site 3 and mustering a good Shadow hand together. I dropped 9 minions on 15 twilight at site 4. WIN.
Game 2: Pipeweed Tank/Moria Swarm
Second game, my bro knew what to expect and started choking hard early. I finally swarmed him with 10 minions at site 7 in region 3 though. WIN.
Game 3: Dwarves/Sauron Corruption and Discard
This game looked like it would be close, but I won and it was actually no match-up. He got Thin and Stretched and DDOTR out at site 2, but Glamdring, Foe-hammer prevented further corruption. At site 5 I pulled Sleep, Caradhras and wiped out all of his Dwarven conditions and Sauron conditions. I then swarmed his 4 dwarves with 8 guys. WIN.
Game 4: Elvent Twins/Uruk Trackers
This one looked a little tricky. He ran a big fellowship, but my FP could easily beat his trackers. I started running, and eventually killed off a couple companions before swarming him out at site 6. WIN.
Conclusions:
This deck kicks some serious butt. It really rocks. The FP sets up in the first couple sites and then chokes till the end, letting me drop a bomb every site from 3-9 if I get more than twilight. It seems impossible but with Uruk Captain and Uruk Regular it is perfectly possible. Also, I can fetch back a Captain or a Regular late in the game with Final Account to deal the killing blow.
Will post more reports on this deck

You do know that Sleep, Caradhas doesn’t discard your opponent’s Free Peoples conditions, right? It only discards active conditions. |
