To play, spot 2  companions.
Skirmish: Exert Galadriel to reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an card, wound a minion skirmishing an companion

To be honest, I was disappointed to see corvus open his submission with such a "weak" card. Not a lot of issues on formatting, but the wording on her ability... It basically means that, should you reveal an event, you can reveal the same event over and over again, as long as she has vitality! This ability should either be a one-shot thing, or it should either discard that card or make you shuffle your draw deck. Also, people are sticking too much to old concepts! This galadriel has no means of protecting herself, and is HARSH on the requirements to play (I know this is to justify the ability, but it still doesn’t make it cool), so it could:
-Cost less;
-Have some kind of protection (like being an ally, or being able to be replaced in a skirmish by some means);
-Be an uncommon or;
-Have higher stats.
My pledge is: this card is not played within the sf, hence it can only use its ability as long as it reaches play by spotting 2 more elves! And companions that is! Being Galadriel forces a non-elven ring-bearer and at some point, she will run out of vitality. That means, she is neither over or under powered. Increase anything you want.
Well, this is the first pledge I’m going to decline. Even if you have to spot 2 companions, the starting fellowship itself fits 2 elves with ease. Throw 4 copies of her into an Elven telepathy deck, and she’ll PROBABLY be up at site 1-3, doing her thing indefinitely until site 9. It’s just too much. Not to mention, you can throw Aiglos and Nenya on her... Too powerful indeed. I’m sorry. Not to mention, even if she dies, you can use that new site to play her again and again... |

Fierce. Damage +1. Rallying. (When you play this minion, you may exert it to play another character from the same race from your draw deck or discard pile)
Gothmog is twilight cost -1 for each companion that has a shadow token on it.
Each time a possession is played, you may reveal this card from hand to place a shadow token on a companion (except the Ring-bearer).
R+ (Starter Rare is still a Rare, Celebrimbor. I’ll let it slip this time, only lowering your "Rarity" grade, but do not repeat this mistake again, or you’ll get a 0 on the whole card, for exceeding the given quota for the rarity.)

AMAZING card! Creative-wise as it can get! Creating a whole new culture for Balrogs was a VERY nice idea, which no one explored so far! Not to mention, this card would make it one tasty preview card for a new set! Comeback of The Balrog, a new culture, a new ability and new ways to use tokens, creating generic tokens which’ll be able to be spotted for several cards of several cultures, not to mention the fun it’ll be in a multi-player match! Too bad the rarity thing lowered your grade on this one!
The Only reason I chose SR for the rarity for this card was that I wanted it to represent a new type of rarity, "Super Rare". I thought it really sounded like it came from an entirely different set. Oh, and why did you color the uniqueness dot red?
WOW, I didn’t figure that one out! Sorry! However, we already have the R+ rarity, so you should just have implemented it in a set other than Reflections instead of creating a new one... Still, since in the first one I saw I DID lower your grade, I’ll raise it accordingly. The others, well, I treated it as a regular R+, which fits well enough with the idea of a SR, so no problems. That dot is red because it was either not there, or lacking spaces between it and the type/subtype. |

Okay, here’s my pledge...I was thinking about some things about Berserker Sword, but I agree that I made it underpowered. So I decided on this card. My basic thing with the flavor text...was trying to link in this way: Aragorn is protecting the Hobbits as they trudge through the wilds...represented in the ability by his healing in the Maneuver Phase. |

Then it should have a hint like: "but they still felt protected in the ranger’s presence", or anything like that. The way it is, it’s TOO far to link, even with an explanation... |

Ok, Contestants. I do not hav your challenge here yet, but I DO have an assignment for you, for as soon as you can take carde of it. I want you to check the cards here. Study them. Check them for stats, game text, flavor text, etc. Take your time. If you’re not familiar AT ALL with MTG, check some cards here on Cobra Cards to see the difference. I’ll give you all about a full week to do it, maybe two. |
