Alright, voting begins today. Since MoS didn’t submit his card in time (apparently he’s dropped off the face of the earth, and many other DC contests), he’s out of the next round, and AP advances. But I’ll still post the card.

Anyways, here we go.

Matchup #1:
DainIronfoot

•Thuringwethil, Slave of Sauron Sauron

Minion • Maia
Strength: 18
Vitality: 4
Site: 6
Fierce. Hunter 3.
If you can spot Sauron or 4 threats, Thuringwethil’s twilight cost is -4.
Thuringwethil may not take wounds (except during skirmishes).
Regroup: Exert Thuringwethil (or Sauron) twice to take her back into hand.

Bobtheorc

•Thuringwethil, Slave of Sauron Sauron

Minion • Maia
Strength: 5
Vitality: 5
Site Number: 3
Damage +2. Lurker.
Thuringwethil is strength +1 for each wound token and Free People culture you can spot.
Skirmish: Exert Thuringwethil twice to reveal the Free Peoples player’s hand. Make another minion strength +1 for each Shadow Card revealed, and damage +1 for each Free Peoples cards revealed.

Design Notes:
Some quick comments on this, I decided that a vampire would like blood, thus the wounds ability.
And since Thuringwethil could shape-shift, Thuringwethil could find out what the Free People were doing and use it to help saurons minion, which is why I have the second ability.
And since Vampires are sneaky she is Lurker, and since vampires can kill easily she is damage +2.

Matchup #2:
Corvus

• Thuringwethil, Slave of Sauron Sauron

Minion • Maia
Strength: 16
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 7
Fierce. Damage +1. Lurker.
To play, exert 2 Sauron

minions.
Skirmish: Exert Thuringwethil and a minion to make that minion damage +1.
Thus Luthien dressed herself in the hide of the bat-messenger of Sauron.

Anxiouschieftain

Follower
Strength: +1
Vitality: +1
Aid - Discard a Sauron

card from hand.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may add a threat.

Matchup #3:
Well, he may already win, but here’s his card...

Like a fisher putting out bait, I shall put out my votes in hope to attract more of them.

Matchup #1:
Interesting cards. Dain’s is nice and strong, and provides a never-ending headache for your opponent. BtO’s is also strong, and very unique, with low starting strength but a good boost. Overall, though, I think BtO’s is overpowered. Dain inches ahead, here.

Matchup #2:
This one was extremely tough. I liked corvus’s card a lot. Really powerful, and a cool ability (could even exert twice to give itself damage+2)! AC’s card, on the other hand, was beautiful in it’s simplicity, and would work well with Sauron

strategies now. It would be easy to see this card being transfered to the Dark Lord himself!

It is really, really difficult, but I think AC pulls out ahead.

Although in match 1, I like Bobtheorc’s idea better, its a bit too powerful w/ 5 vitality.

Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true.

I’m torn as to who to vote for. Dain’s card is like a much cheaper Balrog with better game text, while BtO’s card can make another minion like a Balrog. I dunno. I’ll vote later.
