[quote="DáinIronfoot"]Thanks, AC. for tackling all those.
Thanks to those who reviewed the last Duo, too. Much appreciated!
Dáin’s DC Duos #118
•Bolg, Goblin of the North
Minion • Orc
Strength: 10
Vitality: 3
Site: 8
Lurker. Hunter 3.
Each other Orc is strength +1.
Esch time Bolg takes a wound, remove or discard a Orc.
Skirmish: Exert Bolg to make a Orc damage +1.
“‘The Goblins are upon you! Bolg of the North is coming.’”
I honestly think this guy would be fine with a normal site number.
Bodyguard of Bolg
Minion • Orc
Strength: 11
Vitality: 2
Site: 8
Fierce. Damage +1. Hunter 1.
To play, spot a unique Orc.
When you play this minion, you may exert it to play a possession on it from your draw deck.
“...goblins of huge size with scimitars of steel.”[/quote
Same as above. Overall, really good cards. |

Dáin’s DC Duos #118
Down to only six (maybe seven) more Duos for the culture. I know, that’s still a pretty decent number, but I can’t believe we’re even THAT close. The culture is HUGE in Lasting Alliances, so getting this far in this amount of time is quite a feat, I do say. Thanks for all the reviews, everyone!
Due to my greed for more reviews yesterday , I didn’t get a Duo up for...well, I think the first time since I started them here. Horrors.
Shame! Shame!
So, to make it up, here’s a couple of the most powerful goblins the culture has ever seen. (One comment: note their site number before you nail me for the rather low costs. ) I was holding them in reserve to post closer to the end, but I think a missed day merits doing it now. Enjoy!

Maybe make it remove .

Do something to neutralize Bolg’s dwarback text. That would be sweet. Like each time Bolg is about to take a wound, add . |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Made a couple changes to the cards. Thanks, everyone!
Yoiks...I was wrong. There’s only 3 (maybe 4) Duos left, not six. Oops. Looks like we’ll be done sooner than I thought. I’m going to go post the poll for the next Duo topic after I’m done with this.
Dáin’s DC Duos #119
Just a couple non-related cards today. Well, I GUESS they’re related due to underground sites, but that’s a stretch. Enjoy!
•Crossed and Tangled
Condition • Support Area
Response: If the fellowship moves to an underground site, you may exert a minion to make the move limit -1 (to a minimum of 1) for this turn.
At the end of each regroup phase, discard a minion or discard this conditon.
“...but the goblins knew their way...and the way went down and down, and it was most horribly stuffy.”
A Forging and An Arming
Event • Maneuver
Search.
Exert a minion to reveal the top X cards of your draw deck, where X is the number of underground and mountain sites you can spot. You may then play any cards revealed. Replace each remaining cards in the same order.
“Then they marched and gathered by hill and valley, going ever by tunnel or under dark, until around and beneath the great mountain Gundabad of the North, where was their capital, a vast host was assembled ready to sweep down in time of storm unawares upon the South.” |

The second "each" is misspelled. Also, due to his drawback, I think he would be adequately priced at . Cool card.

Tie him in with Bolg somehow. Perhaps by preventing wounds...

Cool. Maybe add a spotting requirement (but a very small one).

overpowered, it would totally kill any deck, because you could force your opponent to single move every turn, double move once and win. it would take some work, but it’s still overpowered.

this one is a little overpowered too. make it place the rest beneath the draw deck or something. |

It needs a spotting requirement, plus I would raise the cost to .
