Looks like Supplies of the Mark wasn’t a very good reprint idea. So instead, I’ve replaced it (in the original posting) with an all-new card...along with a description afterwards. Check it out and let me know what you think! |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I can’t say anything about your new card than repeat my earlier comment. Dropping an ally is just not a good cost for healing one. I think it would have been fine at simply add - a bit of a deathtrap, but fair enough.

Ah...but I thought you’d appreciate the potentially lethal combo with Morwen. Also, keep in mind that the discarding could really help cycle, especially if you have multiple copies of the same ally in your deck...turn the extras into healing!
How about if I just discard and add no twilight? Would that be okay? |

Sorry, completely forgot about Morwen!
I think I’d prefer no twilight and discarding a card or 2 from hand or a ally from play - it makes sense to me to keep followers out of the equation if you’re dealing with allies. If you keep it as follower, though, make sure it’s a follower.

Okay, now that I think THAT card is cleared up, let’s get to a couple more cards of the same theme. I didn’t plan on doing much more with this discarding allies/followers thing, but now that the idea’s in my head, I had a couple MORE ideas to go along with it. Enjoy!
Lives That Are At Stake
Event • Skirmish
Exert a Man to make him or her strength +2 for each ally and each follower in your dead and discard piles (limit +8 ).
“‘Were they not prepared against just such an evil day as this?’”
•Waiting for Sudden Death
Condition • Support Area
When you play this condition, you may spot a Man to add a token here.
Each time a Man or follower is killed or discarded, you may add a token here.
Skirmish: Discard this condition or remove a token from here to make a minion skirmishing a Man lose a keyword and be unable to gain that keyword until the regroup phase.
“‘They are proud and wilful, but they are true-hearted, generous in thought and deed; bold but not cruel; wise but unlearned, writing no books but singing many songs....’” |

Take out the limit! Where’s the fun in a limit? Might raise it to without it though.

Could the ability not be more readily useful for the strategy like removing an ally in your dead pile from the game or replaying allies/followers in your discard pile?

 • Sewel
Ally • Home 4 [TTT] • Man
Strength: 4
Vitality: 2
Villager.
Discard Sewel if an opponent controls any site 4.
Each time the fellowship moves to a plains site, you may heal Sewel.
Maneuver: Exert a villager to make the current site a plains site until the end of the turn.
Like many of his fellow farmers, Sewel had spent many days cultivating the lands of the Westfold.
works. make it exert sewall though
 • Gylda
Ally • Home 4 [TTT] • Man
Strength: 3
Vitality: 2
Villager.
Discard Gylda if an opponent controls any site 4.
While you can spot another Man and Gylda is not exhausted, she has muster.
Regroup: Exert Gylda to draw a card.
Gylda was just one of many women forced to flee her simple farming life behind on the long journey to Helm’s Deep.
so you could muster, then exert right?
nice
Well Prepared
Condition • Support Area
Fellowship: Discard a ally or follower from play or from hand to heal a villager.
“‘But great store of food, and many beasts and their fodder, have also been gathered there.’”
isn’t there already a card called well prepared?
Fight for the Villagers (reprint)
Event • Skirmish
Make a Man stength +2 (or +3 if you spot a villager).
“‘They do not come to destroy Rohan’s crops or villages. They come to destroy its people, down to the last child.’”
stength?

Thran’s semi-right. I agree that having stuff dead is bad so dont limit it as you would hope there wasnt much in the piles. But having followers discarded is a lot easier than putting things in the dead pile with a lot less punishment for it. Remove the limit then you remove the follower line.

Ive never seen so many symbols on a card before! Unique please! I know the ability isnt often triggered but reinforcing makes this quite powerful.
