nice! cut cost to 2 IMO though

Tale.
If the fellowship is at a dwelling or forest site, spot Tom Bombadil to remove a burden. If you can spot Goldberry, remove another burden.
“The drink in their drinking-bowls seemed to be clear cold water, yet it went to their hearts like wine and set free their voices. The guests became suddenly aware that they were singing merrily, as if it was easier and more natural than talking.”
remove a burden and heal a companion IMO. |

Once again, two differing opinions.
I made some changes to both cards that I think (read: hope) will please everyone. How are they now? |

I would make it exert Tom or raise the cost to .

Looks pretty good, especially compared to The Council of Elrond.

Seems like it needs a slightly larger cost... maybe make it , or and an exertion.

Okay, I decided to make AP’s recommended change to In The House of Tom Bombadil, as I think that balances it out well. If I’m flat-out wrong, just let me know. I’ll listen.
Onward and upward, with a few more Tom-related cards. Enjoy!
I Know The Tune For Him
Event • Response
If a companion is about to be overwhelmed in a skirmish, exert Tom Bombadil (or spot him if you can spot a Tree in that skirmish) to prevent that companion from being overwhelmed until the end of that skirmish.
“‘What be you a-thinking of? You should not be waking. Eat earth! Dig deep! Drink water! Go to sleep! Bombadil is talking!’”
The Tree part might seem strange, and certainly opens up some interesting Huorn/Tom pairings (especially with the follower version of Tom, since no exerting would then be required). But there will be a few Tree minions in the set, too.
Heed No Nightly Noises!
Event • Response
If a Shadow event is played, exert Tom Bombadil three times (or twice if the fellowship is at a dwelling or sanctuary) to cancel all effects of that event and discard it.
“‘Nothing passes doors or windows save moonlight and starlight and the wind off the hill-top.’”
He Is The Master
Event • Response
If a companion is about to take a wound, exert Tom Bombadil to prevent that wound.
“‘None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master: His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.’”
Obviously, these two only work with an ally version, since you can’t exert the follower version. |

Neat. I would consider dropping the cost to , though.

It’s interesting... would do really well with hobbits. Maybe don’t cancel the skirmish, just prevent the companion from being overwhelmed.

This is a nice card. No complaints.
