Thanks for all the reviews, guys. I made a couple minor tweaks to Days of Our Prosperity, but in general, it looks like people were happy with the last Duo. Smile

Dáin’s DC Duos #214

Here’s a couple more cards where the Dwarves "lend a hand" to other cultures. Smile Enjoy!

2 Confusticate and Bebother These Dwarves! Dwarven
Event • Fellowship
Exert a Dwarf, discard a Dwarven card from hand, and spot a non-Dwarf companion to take an event of that companion’s culture into hand from your draw deck or discard pile.
“‘Why don’t they come and lend a hand?’”

3As Spoken of Old Dwarven
Condition • Support Area
Each time you play a Dwarf, you may heal a Gandalf Man.
Each time you play a Gandalf Man, you may heal a Dwarf.
Maneuver: Spot a Dwarf and a Gandalf Man to take a Dwarven tale and a Gandalf tale into hand from your draw deck or discard pile. Discard this condition.
“‘I have come back. I wish to see the Master of your town!’”

We’ve got at least one more Dwarven Duo left, and maybe two if I’m really inspired. Smile

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I would add "or discard pile". Smile

This card is great. Interesting and very playable. Lower cost to 1 as its fellowship and exerting. Add from discard pile as well.

Make it cost 3 as its pretty darn useful. Good card!

Haha, great title. Cool card! Seems balanced, although I could see it cost 1 also. Or make it a 3-cost card, and instead of the ’exert a Dwarf’ requirement have it be a ’Toil: 1’ card.

Great! Makes me want to play a Dwarven/Gandalf deck!

Also good. Maybe a little undercosted still, but I’m not really sure.
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true.

Alright, since people seem happy with those cards, here’s a couple more!

Dáin’s DC Duos #215

Been busy, and I likely will be much of the rest of the day, so these may be the LAST Dwarven cards...at least for now. Keep in mind that when I finish this culture and the next (and final) culture of Lasting Alliances--the Orc culture--we will revisit ALL the cultures and fill in any percieved gaps, probably based on your feedback.

Anyways, on to the cards! Enjoy!

2 Recovered His Dignity Dwarven
Condition • Support Area
Toil 1.
Response: If another Dwarven card is about to be discarded, spot 3 Dwarves (or Thorin and another Dwarf) to take that card into your hand instead. Discard this condition.
“‘We cannot leave them. Get inside Mr. Baggins and Balin, and you too Fíli and Kíli-the dragon shan’t have all of us. Now you others, where are the ropes? Be quick!’”

1 At Your Service! Dwarven
Event • Fellowship
Spot Thorin, Gandalf, or Bilbo to play a Dwarf from your draw deck (or spot Thorin and either Bilbo or Gandalf to play a Dwarf from your discard pile).
“‘At yours and your family’s!’”
