Hmmm. I’m going to wait on another review or two before I make changes. Nothing personal, Thran...I’m just not sure I agree. |

I just feel that Legolas as a cost 8/3/6 archer companion with another ability and probably the most useful signet is a bit much.
But then, I don’t like the hunter keyword at all and think that most of the hunter companions are OP.

Alright, I took him down to hunter 1, but the rest I’d prefer to leave...for now.
Thanks! |

DáinIronfoot wrote: Alright then. I think ya’ll have earned it with your consistent reviewing...here’s Legolas!
Yippee!
He and the other cards below will be our last cards...I think. Starting next time, we’ll move on to the OTHER Elf culture in my sets. That’s right...the Elves of Mirkwood get a chunk of The Road Ahead. Thogh not NEARLY as big as it was in Lasting Alliances, the culture, both FP and Shadow, still have a role to play in this set.
Anyway, that’s next time. For THIS time, enjoy!
 • Legolas, Thranduilion
Companion • Elf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Signet: Gandalf
Archer. Hunter 1.
Each time Legolas wins a skirmish, you may discard a card from hand to draw a card.
“Gandalf walked in front....The others were in file behind, and Legolas whose eyes were keen was the rearguard.”
nice skirmish muster phase to me, and i disagree with tharundil, as in a cost 10 strength aragorn (tharundil)
 • Bow of the Galadhrim, Great Bow of Lórien
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Strength +1
Bearer must be an Elf.
While at a forest or river site, bearer gains hunter 1.
If bearer is Legolas, each time he wins a fierce skirmish, you may heal him.
“‘My gift for you, Legolas, is a bow of the Galadhrim. Worthy of the skill of our woodland kin.’”
nice
The White Arrows of Lorien, Carved of Mallorn Wood
Possession • Arrow
Bearer must be an Elf archer.
At the start of each archery phase, you may remove an token or discard this possession to exert a minion; bearer does not add to the fellowship archery total.
Lothlórien arrows fly true thanks to the feathers of the great swan.

One more I missed, just to finish things off....
Elven Bracers
Possession • Bracers
Bearer must be an archer.
While you have initiative, each time bearer is about to exert during the archery phase, you may add a burden instead (limit twice per phase).
Archery: If the shadow has initiative, discard this possession and make the fellowship archery total -X (to a minimum of 0) to wound a minion X times. That minion’s owner may discard a Shadow possession or remove (X) to prevent this.
I know, I know...probably way overpowered. But I had to try. |

Yes it is!
Ok you cant have the first ability as archery cos its a response. You can either say "Each time bearer is about to exert in the archery phase and you have initiative add instead" or "Response: If bearer is about to exert and you have initiative add instead". But its a moot point as its insanely OP especially with greenleaf.
Second ability needs to say "that minion’s owner" not minion. But its ok gameplay wise. O and take the brackets and bold off remove (X).
You gotta take the first part out or edit it to something way less lethal Dain! |

Yeah, that was one of my VERY early cards. That’s why I initially forgot about it.
I made some changes. Probably still crazy, but perhaps it a little better balanced. |

Ok much better i think thats still good but balanced. I might make them unique like the armaments but wouldnt be end of the world. Still need to make (X) into just X.
Cool enough now. |

Bracers are weird, but good.
And L333, I also think that Aragorn, Thorongil is overpowered, so it’s nothing personal against Legolas!
