not taking wounds during the archery phase can sometimes be more bad then good. its good, maybe cut the eomer ability entirely and it would be balanced methinks.

Decent, but a tad underpowered since Rohirrim Javelin and Riddermark Javelin both give 1 strength all the time and have the same archery ability (actually, a better archery ability with Riddermark Javelin).

I think it would make more sense if it said: "Bearer is valiant (and gains hunter 1 if the fellowship is at a plains or battleground site." It’s up to you, though.

Ah, a Rohan Ring-bearer. I’ve seen similar (and I even have a similar Theoden), but this one is pretty cool. I’d make an incentive for assigning him to a skirmish. Hunter 1, perhaps?

Really expensive, even with the toil. Either lower the cost to a 3-4 range or up it to toil 2.

Maybe a bonus if the Man you exerted was mounted? Pretty cool idea, though.

I like it, though it is a bit expensive. Since it does cost 3, maybe add: "...(or make each mounted Rohan Man strength +3)."

Thanks for the reviews, everyone! Very Happy I tweaked a few of the cards according to MoS’s suggestions, and a few according to AC’s suggestions.


2 Rohirrim Fighter Rohan
Companion • Man
Strength: 5

0 • Breathe the Free Air Rohan
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot a Rohan Man.
Each time a Rohan companion loses a skirmish, add a Rohan token here.
Each time a Shadow condition is played on a Rohan companion, add a Rohan token here.
Fellowship: Remove 2 Rohan tokens from here to heal a companion.
Maneuver: Remove 4 Rohan tokens from here to heal 2 companions.
Regroup: Remove 6 Rohan tokens from here to heal a companion and discard all Shadow conditions.

Simple enough. Just a bit underpowered, but I prefer that you keep him as is.

Nice. Maybe, since this refers to Theoden’s freedom from Saruman, give it the option of discarding a Shadow condition borne by that companion instead. Good job. Thumbs Up
