Dain u think splashing a remove 3 burden card for 2 twilight and can act as a human shield doesnt need to be x-ed? Weird. |

Point conceded, but I think R-listing him would be okay. With current escalation, it’s not as out of whack as it once was. |

Okay, moving swiftly through the fellowship, here’s Merry and Pippin, based on Friend to Sam and Mr Took respectively:
 • Pippin, Third of the Nine Walkers
Companion • Hobbit
Str: 3
Vit: 4
Res: 9
Fellowship.
The twilight cost of the first fellowship companion played each fellowship phase is -2.
’We hobbits ought to stick together, and we will. I shall go, unless they chain me up.’
• Merry, Fourth of the Nine Walkers
Companion • Hobbit
Str: 3
Vit: 4
Res: 9
Fellowship.
Skirmish: If Merry is not assigned to a skirmish, exert him twice to add his strength to a fellowship companion (or exert him once if that companion has resistance 6 or more).
’We have been terrified that you might give us the slip and disappear suddenly, and go off all on your own...’

Too much, I think. I’d do -3, or perhaps make it something like "The twilight cost of the first fellowship companion played during your fellowship phase is -2", cutting the exertion.

Now I had a problem with Gandalf as there was no iconic version of him from fellowship block apart from Friend of the Shire Folk which can’t really be improved. So, I thought I’d throw in a slightly different ability.

Companion • Wizard
Str: 8
Vit: 4
Res: 7
Fellowship.
Fellowship or Regroup: Spot 6 fellowship companions and exert Gandalf to play the fellowship’s next site.
