Spot The Balrog at an underground site to make it strength +3 (and damage +1 if at a battleground).

Event • Shadow
Exert the Balrog to play artifact from your draw deck or discard pile. Then if you can spot a Wizard, you may exert a companion.
The Balrog’s weapons seemed to come from his own fiery body

Event • Response
If the fellowship moves again this turn, play The Balrog from your draw deck; its twilight cost is -5. Until the end of the turn, each time The Balrog is assigned to skirmish a companion, the Free Peoples player must discard from play a card of that companion’s culture.

Or maybe you guys thought that Thran made it, since his name was beneath it... whereas the name of the creator is above the card in this contest. Oh well, I’m just curious as to whether I made a mistake or something when I made it.
