Not really, actually. Well, not in this set, at least. But my Cave Troll keys off of wounds, so this is a BIG card for him. |

Its only good cos it says minion, you wouldnt use it in an orc deck so makes it pretty limited use. |

Eh, certain Orcs (like the Keyward) could get at least a +4 boost out of it, or more if they have my Moria Armor on. But yes, I imagine this would mainly be used with the Troll(s), Watcher, and Balrog, which is actually what’s intended anyway. |

True enough...but most pumps are ALSO not so open-ended, with no limit and the potential for a +6 or even +8 boost. |

Yeah i know but again i dont know of any (or many if youve made some) orcs with 5 vitality. So like i said definately not worth putting in any deck without the rog or troll, cos even if the orc had FOUR vitality the chances of you getting this in your hand just as its exhausted arent high. Not dissing the card Dain its sound, but theres no way this would make it into a standard orc deck. |

Fair enough. Using it with Orcs would be more of a bonus anyway. |

And speaking of Orcs, there’s still a few of them to get through before we run into a certain creature of flame and shadow.... Enjoy!
Moria Ambusher
Minion • Orc
Strength: 7
Vitality: 1
Site: 5
Ambush .
When you play this minion, if it is not roaming, you may play a Orc with equal or lesser strength from your draw deck.
“Away beyond the shadows at the western end of the hall there came cries and horn-calls. Doom, doom: the pillars seemed to tremble and the flames to quiver.”
Guardian of the Gate
Minion • Orc
Strength: 8
Vitality: 1
Site: 5
Ambush .
At the start of the regroup phase, discard another Orc to make the move limit -1 for this turn (to a minimum of 1).
Skirmish: If this minion is not assigned to a skirmish, discard it to add .
“There was a guard of orcs crouching in the shadows behind the great door posts towering on either side....”
Goblin Runner (reprint)
Minion • Orc
Strength: 5
Vitality: 1
Site: 4
When you play this minion, you may spot another card to add .
“‘By nightfall these hills will be swarming with Orcs!’”
I was trying to think of a way to copy this guy without outright copying him, but there’s no topping the original...and STILL the best swarmer. |
