No, Chaotic Clash is probably the worst card for swarms, since every minion is going to take up 1 more twilight for every copy of CC that is in play. This works a lot better with a couple big minions, like Trolls, but even so I don’t think it’s going to be worth it in most cases. |

Very interesting card!
The potential problem, of course, is with the "spot no minions" wording. It can be argued that technically, you could have a dozen minions in play and simply choose to spot no minions in order to play this card, similar to the common situation where you have several minions in play but only choose to spot one.
Better wording would be something like "Play this card only if you cannot spot a minion."
I’m sure Chaotic Clash will get a CRD entry... until then, I have to say the intent is quite obvious. 
I also think the card is pretty much unplayable. The drawback will almost always outweigh the benefit, even without considering the FP player’s condition removal options! The best-case scenario is that you minimize the drawback by playing only a few huge minions, but then you’re probably better off equipping them with weapons instead. |
