Any takers? As per usual, I’m reluctant to move on without reviews. Only two Eagle Duos left!
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Here you go:

If the fellowship is at any site 5 or above, exert an Eagle to examine either the top card or a random card in an opponent’s adventure deck. If able, you may play either that site or your own (replacing opponent’s site if necessary).
“But eagles have keen eyes and can see small things at a great distance.”

Hmm... the wording is weird, so I’m not really sure how it’s supposed to work. One problem I can see with it is if you reveal a site 7, 8, or 9 when you’re at site 5.

Could you maybe explain how it’s supposed to work? Because my mind can’t really figure out what you’re trying to do with the card. Embarassed

Each time a minion or Shadow event with a twilight cost of (X) is played, you may exert X Eagles to return that card to its owner’s hand.
“...from their watchfulness the movements in the mountains could not be altogether hid.”

I would make it limit once per turn, and change event to condition; IMHO, events should be encouraged and not beat up on.

Thanks, AC! GP Made some changes. I guess I was mixing pre- and post-Shadow sites with Keen Sight. Embarassed Better/clearer now?

Pretty please? Pray

kinda like roused eh?

2 The Clouds Burst Green
Event • Skirmish
Exert a non-Green companion to make him or her strength +1 for each Green companion you can spot (limit +4).
“The clouds were torn by the wind, and a red sunset slashed the West. Seeing the sudden gleam in the gloom Bilbo looked round. He gave a great cry: he had seen a sight that made his heart leap, dark shapes small yet majestic against the distant glow.”

make it unbound and cost 1 IMO

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

If the fellowship is at any site 5 or above, exert an Eagle to examine a player’s adventure deck. Then you may play the fellowship’s next site from either your adventure deck or that player’s adventure deck (replacing opponent’s site if necessary). Draw a card if you play a mountain, plains, or river site.
“But eagles have keen eyes and can see small things at a great distance.”
cut the last sentence. Looking at an opponents adventure deck, even at site 5-9 is powerful. especially fi you can then play one of yours or there sites.

make it discard it if it is a minion IMO.

Thanks, SoP. I cut the last sentence of Keen Sight, as suggested. However, I think I’m going to leave Long Suspicion as it is. The point wasn’t to necessarily get rid of the minion/condidition, just to force the Shadow player to either pay the costs again or clog their hand.

yeah but 6 exertions just to remove 6 twilight (even 4-5)? seems a little hefty.

It can be worth it in the long run, especially at site 9. I was thinking it might be even a bit overpowered.

When one thinks it’s a little overpowered, and one thinks it’s a little underpowered, I think it’s perfect. Razz

Keep this in mind too, SoP: twilight isn’t the only cost for some conditions and minions. There could have been burdens removed, threats removed, exertions and wounds spread around among OTHER minions.... The Shadow player doesn’t get THOSE back, either. If played at the right time, you could really reap the benefits...though you have to clog your hand with it while you wait.
