To play, spot a companion.
When you play this possession, add a token here for each of the following you can spot: Man, Dwarf, Wizard, and Hobbit.
Each time a Free Peoples possession is about to be discarded, you may remove 2 tokens from here or discard this possession to prevent that.
“Hundreds of musical crackers had been pulled. Most of them bore the mark DALE on them....”
"For each of the following:" is follwed by a list. In a list where only one option is avaliable, it should be "or," designating that you may choose X, [or] Y, "OR" Z. In this list, gramatically, the word should be "and" regardless of whether its companions or races, because you are choosing all possible objects within the list. (ie X, [and] Y, and Z. You take X AND Z. (and Y if you can spot Y, et cetera.)) Noble Leaders is gramatically incorrect.
That said, both cards are good! |

Aha! Even MATH is on my side!
Thanks for the clarification, Drake, and the review. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Back to Gandalf for a few cards before we shut down this culture and move on to...something else. Here are two of those cards, both dealing with the discard pile. Enjoy!
Words of Guard and Guiding
Condition • Support Area
Spell.
Response: If a mount is about to be discarded, exert your Wizard to place that mount beneath your draw deck instead. You may then reshuffle your draw deck.
Fellowship: Spot your Wizard and discard this condition to play a mount from your discard pile.
“‘You are a wise beast, and have learned much in Rivendell. Make your way to places where you can find grass, and so come in time to Elrond’s house, or wherever you wish to go.’”
Do Not Give Up Hope!
Event • Fellowship or Maneuver
Add a threat to choose one: spot Gandalf to take a or card into hand from your discard pile; or play Gandalf from your discard pile.
“‘Gandalf is greater than you Shire-folk know – as a rule you can only see his jokes and toys. But this business of ours will be his greatest task.’” |

To play, spot a Man companion. Bearer must be a companion.
Regroup: Discard this possession to remove a threat or draw 2 cards.
“‘I thought it was only a kind of cram, such as the Dale-men make for journeys in the wild.’”
maybe add healing a companion.

I love SoP’s faithful reviewing, but it can push topics down the page VERY quickly. So...bump! |

I’d prefer more than one review of the last cards before I move on. Any takers? |
