Well, to be perfectly honest, I’m a little miffed that my section was basically ignored in favor of others killing off the Chieftain.
So now...what? I have to go rewrite my section?
EDIT: This is pure selfishness talking, but I think Legoles should not be assigned to the Chieftain, as I DID claim it way before he OR NBarden decided to finish it off instead. I think NB’s event is okay, though he could drop that extra wound if he wanted and just wound him by winning the skirmish. I’ve got plenty of damage bonuses to finish him off with two, one, or even NO wounds.
I’m still a little ticked that people just waved aside what I took time to write, but I’ll rewrite if I have to. I’ll check back later tonight and see what’s been decided by the group. |

I didn’t notice you killing the chieftain. I haven’t been as active as I should, and thus had a ton of pages to wade through. So I kinda just took BW’s page as a guide.
Sorry. I missed legoles to. BW hadn’t posted that legoles was assigned, I just saw the note that said Warg Cheftain unassigned and said, "cool!"
I’ll let you guys figure out what to do with this one.
BTW, maybe we should have a thread for arguing and one for posting? Like a new thread only CG can post in that just shows the RP, DCs, and Results. |

Dain, I can understand this.
Mechanically, we needed someone to be assigned to the Chieftain at the end of the assignment phase (otherwise, the Chieftain chooses who it would be assigned to - although it wouldn’t have to). It didn’t matter who, but it was preferable to be someone that could win, so that we didn’t take wounds that didn’t need to be dealt.
So, we put someone in who could win, then Rorin had his skirmish and charged the Warg-chieftain as listed.
Also, I haven’t updated the turn with NB’s effects, as I wanted to see how you felt about it. Really, they don’t need to do anything mechanically, and could do a pure RP post, and put up a card that could be more useful later in the game. (just as a suggestion)
Right now is an attempt to get everyone’s cards in while trying to keep it from changing too much (honestly, for a selfish reason here too - I don’t want to go back and re-do the whole turn mechanically, just as much as we all don’t want to re-do our RP posts).
As for a place to discuss, I did put this up so that we could all put in our thoughts on strategy before all posting our own strategy and then working out what happens. |

Either I or Legoles beats up on the Warg Chieftain. Obviously, the chieftain can’t be killed, or you wouldn’t get to fight him.
His skirmish is resolved, then your skirmish, you then take on the Warg Chieftain again and finish him off. Works perfectly. Although cutting the exertion would be completely balanced and would make more sense. Now, me or legoles? I missed legoles’ skirmish...
EDIT: I haven’t seen legoles’ skirmish. Can someone direct me there?
What I’m seeing is that he knocked off a Searching Spectre with an archery event. So, if he wouldn’t mind, would I be able to skirmish the cheiftain? Since I haven’t fought yet? |

That’s what I would recommend, yes. I certainly don’t want you or anyone else to get cheated in all this.
