Frodo, Sam, and Bilbo is a fun fellowship. You can even add Smeagol along with some of those new cards from Hunters for even more fun! |

3RB hobbits + smeagol is a real nightmare to play against |

It’s mainly boring if they focus around No Visitors + Daddy Twofoot. It’s possible to make a fun deck without them, that’s still competetive (just not quite as competetive). |

oh yeah of course, we can do fun + pretty good decks in any culture
but only few cultures can make top decks by themselves |

Hobbits have everyone knows. they don’t suck. Rohan has really been getting ripped off, and now with Third Marshall rotated out.... |

It depends on the focus of the deck. I believe that The Gandalf culture is the best for many reasons. One is the ability to assist any other culture, this gives that particular culture the most useability. Second is the ease in which this culture can prevent burdens, wounds and discards conditions and possessions. The other is that it can also be a very solid fellowship. Have people forgotten about the strength of the Ents?
If you were looking for something more focused on just being huge then it is Dwarves hands down, The Elves make it easy to direct wound and Rohan mixes these two concepts nicely. The Gondor culture is a great culture for survival with fun sub mechanics while the Hobbits are actually much more apt at winning towards the end of the game thanks to the newest conditions as strength bumps. My vote is on Gandalf though, it is just too easy to round out decks and build solid decks with this culture. |
I tend to use Gandalf alot. There isn't any other character in the game as useful or powerful. I also focus on decks that work together free people and minion. |
