Try changing the sword to this:
 • Carothen’s Sword, Trusty Weapon 
Strength +2. Bearer must be a Man.
If bearer is Carothen, he is strength +1.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to exert a minion. |

Bearer must be a dwarf. If bearer is Boin, he may bear one other hand weapon. While bearer is skirmishing an Orc, he is damage+1. |

| I suppose you could change it to ’strength -2 and lose all strength bonuses from possessions’ or something similar, to make it a slightly different type of card. |
