I don’t get it. Where is the idea behind this whole Rohan Ring-Bearer fighting stuff story wise?
They can’t help Frodo, but with Frodo distracting the enemies they got stronger in the battle of Helm’s Deep? I don’t think so....
At least, is there ANY idea behind these cards? I don’t want to blame Brad, but since he is making the cards, they got worse, worse, worst.
Look at the typos on cards, which actually made it to the printers. *shiver*
But I am happy at last we get some new cards. Finally... |

i just had a thought (i know, shocking... ) but what if they made a Rohan Frodo. they have a Rohan Aragorn. frodo wasn’t really IN rohan, but does that matter... |

I don’t think that’s a good idea, MM. (Can I call you MM? ) It works very well for Aragorn because of his heavy involvement with Rohan during The Two Towers and much of Return of the King. I could MAYBE see them really stretching it and doing a Legolas or Gimli, and I can definately see potential for a Merry. But Frodo...no. There’s very little relation. I think this "fightin’ Frodo" thing is about the best they could do. |

i never thought it made sense, but it would definately complete the rohan fighting frodo/ring-bearer. i hope they don’t make it, but it would fit with the cards that have been spoiled. (oh, and i guess you can call me MM, but mm is better...) |

mm it is!
We’ll see. A RB may still pop up, and who knows? Maybe it WILL be Frodo. You never know what Decipher’s going to pull out the bag these days. |

Besides Brad saying there wouldn’t be a ARB. But of course he could go back on his word. It would definately be worthy of Decipher.
But Frodo would be useless. Every card plays on or affects a Man. And unless they give frodo a species change, a Frodo would be next to useless. I say ’next to’ because it would at least limit the number of culutes the opponent could spot.
So far all the ARB’s have made remote sense story-wise. And unless D gets even more desperate (kinda hard to get MORE desperate, unless they go out of business altogether), I doubt a ring-bearer will ever come into existance. |

yeah, but maybe since the cards play on men, that is why they made this fighting ring-bearer/frodo strategy. but i pretty much don’t think they will come out with a ring-bearer. |

I just stumbled across this card while looking through my LotR card database.
Long Live the Halflings
It seems like the shire is also contributing to the fighting ring-bearer strategy. 4 x Measure of Comfort with 4 x Long live the Halflings? |
