Fierce. Enduring.
When you play Sauron, the Free Peoples player must discard an artifact.
Response: If Sauron wins a skirmish, exert him to make the Free Peoples player must wound X companions, where X is the number of Free Peoples cultures you spot
But they were all of them deceived.

No way he’d be used. Other Saurons are cheaper and have damage bonuses. Either bring his cost way down or have some way to make him cheaper when you play him. The game text looks good, however, other than an extra "must" and a missing period. And I do like that his site number is one less than other Saurons.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Sauron is twilight cost -1 for each character you spot.

NOW you might be on to something. A large fellowship means he’s down in the mid-teens, and other minions now help him out too. More ally hate as well. I think he’s good now. Just don’t forget that missing period in the text. Razz

2 •Bilbo, Eleventy-One Years Old Shire
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Ring-Bound.
While Bilbo is not assigned to a skirmish, each Hobbit is strength +1.
At the start of each skirmish involving Bilbo, you may add 3 to exert a minion skirmishing a Ring-Bound Hobbit.
"Hurray! Hurray! Many Happy Returns!"

Well...much like Bilbo, Aged Ring-bearer, this Bilbo is designed for ring-bound hobbit decks. His ability to exert could prove indispensable for PATHS, although the other Bilbo provides a nice burden removal mechanism for PATHS. To remove burdens, or to exert? The choice is up to you.

EDIT: Saw your post SoP. That’s the next card. Wait till I get a couple reviews.

OK I am fine with that. now too/to the card. how about each unbound hobbit? he’s throwing a party for all the hobbits that don’t know about the ring, maybe make him work with them. just an idea.

Nifty. I’d use him, at least in Hobbit decks. Make sure to capitalize "Ring-bound".
