I would say the same, if it was a condition. As an event, each copy takes up deckspace, and for the actual card, how much would you pay for discarding your companions? It’s a massive disadvantage, and you only get the advantages from using up your deck with other cards to exploit it.
I’ve actually played with my Eagles, and they get in serious trouble if they run out of events to play, so I would argue the discarding cards are possibly not good enough, rather than too easy.
Thanks for the fast review!

Sorry for the critiscism Thranduil i hope you find it constructive rather than a moan. Just seems like discarding hobbits was a useful thing to do with the themed deck but they were only hobbits. Big beefy gandalf and eagles seem a lot more powerful to keep recycling.
I take your point though. fair enough. |

Don’t be sorry for criticism! I love criticism (constructive that is) and you should keep doing it always. I wanted to defend my original decision, that’s all. I’ve certainly taken on board your thoughts, and they’re very helpful!
Interesting point about hobbits, but wasn’t the point of them to discard themselves during a skirmish? And also, you’ll miss a Wizard or Eagle a lot more than you’ll miss a poncy little hobbit.

Okay, but I’m still very confused about Radagast’s "not a non-flyer" thing. Care to explain to a simpleton like me?

Yay! Dain agrees about cost!
And i too am really struggling with double neagtive on radagast that confuses the crap out of me. Whats the point in not not being something. Does that mean he is? |

Radagast is not a Flyer.
He is also not a non-Flyer.
Presumably this means that if a card only works on Flyers it doesn’t work on him, and if it affects non-Flyers, it doesn’t work on him either.

I’m sensing a theme on the costs of my cards. I’ll fiddle with them in a second. And Anvar’s got it pretty much covered on the non-flyer thing. At some point, you’ll see some things about non-flyers - it’s not a big deal, but it kind of makes sense.

Perhaps it would be better to say "Radagast may not be spotted as a non-flyer." Lengthy, but MUCH clearer. |

If that’s the only alternative, I might get rid of it altogether!
I’ve edited the costs. Feel free to complain if you want to.
OK, after such a storm of responses, I’ll move onto some Eagles.
Eagle Scout

Each time a spell is played, you may discard this companion or play this companion from your discard pile.

Eagle Watchman
Companion • Eagle
Str: 6
Vit: 3

Flyer.
Each Wizard’s twilight cost is -1.
But eagles have keen eyes and can see small things at a great distance.

Eagle Rescuer
Companion • Eagle
Str: 6
Vit: 3
Res: 6
Flyer.
While you can spot Gwaihir or a Wizard, this companion’s twilight cost is -1.
You may play this companion any time you could play a skirmish event.
When this companion is played, you may wound a minion.
Other birds flew to the tree-tops and seized the dwarves...
H1 U 95
This guy is to help you survive against archery (the keyword really screws you over in this phase):
Eagle Guard
Companion • Eagle
Str: 5
Vit: 4
Res: 6
Flyer.
While you can spot Gwaihir or a Wizard, this companion’s twilight cost is -1.
Archery: Exert this companion X times to make the minion archery total -X.
He swept up into the air, and immediately two of his guards from the rocks at either hand leapt up...
H1 R 94
Next time will be Gwaihir and some support cards.
