| I presume he means the troll at the end battle at the Gates of Mordor in RotK (book). Pippin killed a troll who was about to butcher Beregond (if I remember correctly) |

It’s too bad that they left out where Pippin kills the Troll.... I mean, Merry still got to stab the WK in the movie, but they had to leave out where Pip kills the troll chieftain. Oh well.

Eh...kinda. If you recall, that troll also pretty much crushed Pippin. I don’t know if Pippin actually did much of the killing. I’ll have to re-read that part... |

| Ahh, I see. Havn’t read RotK in over a year, have been catching up on the other books (Silmarillion, Unfinished tales etc). Just on FotR now. Will have to re-read it myself. Unfortunately, that means having to re-read ’In the House of Tom Bombadil’...Argghhhhh! |
