And is it just me or are Gondorian Prowler (from Hunters) and Ranger of Ithilien the same person, just seen from different angles?

Here’s one I noticed. In the Towers block, there’s a card called Uruk Chaser. If you fast-forward to Hunters block, there’s a card that uses the exact same image! And its title? Chasing Uruk!

Could you pick him out in a croud?: Shadow Host

Study the backround/foreground of these two:
Southron Bowman, Elite Archer

Study the backround/foreground of these three:
Southron Marksmen, Haradrim Marksman, Southron Chieftain

Look at this card: Southron Archer Legion
Time for a close up: Southron Archer
Boy, he must be photogenic: Archer of Harad
Move the picture over a bit... and you have a new card!: Horde of Harad
Move it down and now you have a new possesion!: Long Battle Bow
And back over again: Southron Veterans
