i like it. is useful against corruption, but doesn’t kick in until later in the game. cool. also it’s really a different way of combating corruption than usually used.

Agreed. I’m not usually an advocate of discarding unique weapons, though, so perhaps allow the option of exerting bearer twice OR discarding it. And make sure you say "Sting" instead of "this possession" in the text, as it is definately unique. Very Happy

Cool card! GP You might want to change the maneuver action to a "At the start of the maneuver phase" action, since Frodo can have tons of vitality (9 with The Ring of Doom, Frodo Gamgee, Ent Draught, and Little Golden Flower), meaning that he could use the ability 5 times.

A few minor wording issues. It should say (as per Pallando, Far-travelling One): "Each time you transfer this follower to a companion, except a Shire companion, exert that companion." Very cool! I would especially like if you continued to promote hunter in the Shire, and Farmer Maggot presents a perfect opportunity for that. Smile

Again, refer to the rewording provided above. I don’t really care for the text, either; it isn’t really Shire-ish, nor does it suit The Gaffer. Perhaps have him deal with forests and dwelling sites, since he is a gardener.
