One more for the day, a card that goes well with Merry. Smile Enjoy!

1 A Short Cut to Mushrooms Shire
Event • Maneuver
If the fellowship is at a dwelling or forest site, add a threat to heal 2 unbound Hobbits (or heal an unbound Hobbit twice).
“‘Let’s get into the lane and then we shan’t be trespassing. If we meet him, I’ll do the talking. He is a friend of Merry’s, and I used to come here with him a good deal at one time.’”
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Dain, you need to stop making such good cards. I need something to say!

Heheh. Thanks, EL.

Of course, what are Hobbits without some stealth? Smile These cards are loosely fashioned after the FotR/TTT Shire stealth cards, though they have a more "modern" twist. Enjoy!

1 Let’s Get Out of Sight! Shire
Event • Skirmish
Stealth.
If the fellowship is at a forest or river site, cancel a skirmish involving a Hobbit and a fierce minion. At any other site, make a Hobbit strength +2 and gain hunter 1 until the regroup phase.
“‘It may not matter much, but I would rather not be seen on the road – by anyone.’”

2 Laid Flat Shire
Event • Skirmish
Stealth.
Cancel a skirmish involving a Hobbit and a minion whose vitality is lower than that Hobbit’s vitality.
“The other two ran quickly to the left and down into a little hollow not far from the road.”

This last one is a rare stealth condition, and it’s intended to show the Hobbits learning from past stealthy maneuvers, just as they did when avoiding the Ringwraiths on the roads between the Shire and Bree.

1Quickly and Quietly Shire
Condition • Support Area
Stealth.
Each time you play a Shire stealth card (including this condition), spot no more than 3 tokens here to add a Shire token here.
Response: If a minion is played, remove a token from here and spot an unwounded Hobbit companion to make that minion’s owner discard a card from hand of the same culture as that minion. If they cannot, wound that minion.
“‘I don’t want to be seen, but I want to see if it is another Black Rider.’”

Cool! This is usable anywhere.

This would be a killer early game card, when hobbits are weak but (as of yet) unwounded. Again very usable.

Hmm... Against non-fierce minions, almost seems like you don’t want to be at a forest or river.
