The task was:
• A character from The Hobbit that isnt in the Lord of the Rings
• They must not have appeared on a card already made by D
• Must have gametext that fits in well with it’s relevant story line
• Must have appropriate lore

While the Great Goblin is at an underground site he is strength + 2 and fierce.
Maneuver or Skirmish: Exert the Great Goblin twice to discard a free peoples possession.
"There in the shadows on a large flat stone sat a tremendous goblin with a huge head..."
Designer’s note:
This is the part where the dwarves and bilbo are ambushed in the pass of the misty mountains hence his ambush and ambush abilities. He lived deep underground hence his bonus and his orcs robbed all their possessions and mounts hence the discard ability.

Companion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 7
Archer. Muster.
Archery: Exert Bard and add a threat to exert a minion; Bard does not add to the fellowship archery total. You may take the next archery action.

Designers Note:
There’s not enough companions to eat so Bert is getting kinda sick of mutton and that’s why he has the strength deduction.

Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
Muster.
While you can spot 3 Elves, each minion skirmishing a Elf is strength -1.
Maneuver: Exert Thranduil to reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an  or card, you may take it into hand and exert a minion.

While you can spot another Man, Bard is an archer.

Hmmm bit of a Bard theme going on. Anyway..
