I’ll have it to you sometime today. I just need to decide how to do seeing as there isn’t a Thorin yet.

Its upto you AC, you can design it as if there was a Thorin if you want or not. |

Okay, DC submitted. I made it in like 30 seconds so it’s probably not so good, but oh well. Designing Orcrist has never been my strong point.

OK here are the tie breaks, everyone who sees this please just vote, pick AC or Dain asap so we can get started on the next task. Thanks
AC
• Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be Thorin. He is damage +1.
Each time Thorin wins a skirmish, you may discard an Orc. Any Shadow player may remove to prevent this.
Dain
•Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be a unique Dwarf or unique Elf.
Bearer gains hunter 1. If bearer is Thorin, he is damage +1.
Response: If bearer wins a fierce skirmish, exert him or her twice (or once if you can spot an Orc in his or her skirmish) to discard a minion in that skirmish.
“They knew the sword at once. It had killed hundreds of goblins in its time, when the fair elves of Gondolin hunted them in the hills or did battle before their walls....They hated it and hated worse any one that carried it.”
DESIGNER’S NOTES: I wanted to make this an artifact, but felt compelled to stick with a possession since noth Sting and Glamdring are possessions. I wanted it to be pretty darn useful for any Dwarf, but I opted to also include Elves since Orcrist was crafted by the Elves of Gondolin and used against the forces of Morgoth in the Goblin Wars. It was a famous blade, especially among the goblins and orcs, so it was surely used to slay many in its day...hence the pretty powerful ability, with some added Orc-hate. Oh, and I simply HAD to add a little extra incentive for Thorin himself to use it.
Ok..... VOTE! |

Daín gets my vote. The text was more elaborate and useful then AC’s, but balanced at the same time. And you gotta love the lore. |
I had to put something here. |

AC gets my vote. From a purely gaming prospective, his card seems to be more useful. |

AC gets my vote, nice and simple. Dain’s seemed a little to complicated and maybe a little overpowered.

AC, Dain’s is just too complicated (sorry mate - I normally love your cards!)
