Why don’t you just run the contest? It doesn’t take that much work. And you are slightly better at this stuff then shieldelf. If you do I will join in the second round. Also what was the first challenge? |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Its tomorrow. At least, its yesterday’s tomorrow, which is when you posted that the voting starts tomorrow. So, the voting starts today, huh?
shieldelf wrote: Cards I have recieved:
Shieldelf’s:
 Isengard Elite
Minion - Uruk-hai
Strength - 11
Vitality - 2
Site # - 5
Fierce, Damage +1
Manuever: Spot Saruman to add a burden (limit once per phase).
The Elite Warriors of Isengard were not to be dealt with lightly.
Kinda specific, but nice...easily adaptable.
Anonymous Prodigy’s:
 • Mind of Metal and Wheels
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot Saruman and an minion.
Each time Saruman wins a skirmish, you may add to add a burden.
Whoa! Even more specific than Shieldelfs. And its a shadow condition
Glamdring’s:
 Countless Hordes
Condtion
Strength: -1
To play, exert a Uruk-hai. Plays to your support area. Shadow: Exert two[isengard] minions to transfer this over to a companion (limit, one per companion). Each time that companion is assigned to a skirmish you may exert an minion to add a burden.Response: If bearer is about to be killed, discard this condition to make the free peoples player add a burden.
"Endurance was not the Uruk-hia’s weakness..."
Rarity: R
This is a good card. Do you notice how many exertions are floating around, however? Exert an uruk-hai to play, exert two minions to transfer, and then you have to exert an isengard minion to activate it, or discard it. Nevertheless, good card. Oh, its a shadow condition...
NBarden’s:
 Saruman, Seeker of the Ring
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Site Number: 4
Saruman may not take wounds during the archery phase and may not be assigned to a skirmish.
Assignment: Exert Saruman twice to assign an minion to the ring-bearer. The free peoples player may add a burden to prevent this.
Regroup: Exert Saruman and discard an Uruk-Hai to add a burden.
Obviously the best card here. To bad I can’t vote for it...
Geez, I’d say a tie between glamdring and shieldelf. Seriously. Glamdring’s would have taken the cake hands down, but it takes to many exertions to get it working. Shieldelf’s is widely adaptable and customizable, but rather specific and tough to pull off (I know it sounds like a contradiction, but its not). AP’s is...interesting...but its underpowered. For one, its limited not only to Saruman, but certain types of Sarumans.
So, honestly, tie between Shieldelf and Glamdring. |
