Back-up 2. - Place 2 tokens on this condition.
Each time a minion is played, you may remove a token from this condition (or discard this condition) and exert a non- companion to wound that minion.
"Where are Gondor’s armies? You still have friends. You are not alone in this fight. Send word of Theoden of Rohan."
Ok this is a cool card, shame the title has already been used in the gandalf culture from RoTK. Sweet gameplay.

Backup 2 - The twilight cost of each event you play is -2 until the start of the regroup phase.
Each time you play a event in a skirmish involving Harad Lieutenant you may spot another card and exert him to add .
I didnt put southron cos i deliberately wanted him versatile with all raider decks, so for example vision from afar was reduced etc..

Corsair. Fierce. Backup 3- reinforce 2 tokens to discard a condition. To play spot a man. Each of your support area possessions is twilight cost -1.
Sweet but too costly, would ruin the castamir focus in a corsair deck. Cool idea though. Needs spacing correctly as well, all in one continuous lot is confusing.

Shadow: Exert the Witch-king twice to play a Nazgûl. His twilight cost is -3.

Totally cool, fits in perfectly.

Odd unecessary capitilisation of most words. Dont like the backup but the rest is definately cool.

Backup- X- Sauron is twilight cost -X, strength +X and each time he wins a skirmish, add X threats.
Regroup: Discard Sauron to return X minions from play to their owner’s hand.
Awesome backup EXCEPT the threats thing. Makes him too good. Still great gameplay. Shame the likelihood of having any sauron cards in your hand unless ur playing besiegers is remote. Makes him very unsplashable. Which is bad for sauron.

would work really well with a whirling strike, fierce in despair, red wrath deck

the perfect card!

I like it, though the second ability is way OP IMHO.

I’d expect a little more from a "light the beacons" card, anyway very well themed

Liked this one a lot sop, i just think you should separate better what is backup and what is not, it got a little confused. And btw discarding a condition to reinforce 2 tokens would sound more corsarish

I found the backup ability to be the weakest thing about him. Maybe you could spot 3 companions to play a possession from your draw deck or simply play a posession on him from your draw deck too.

OP to the bone! looks indeed it was thrown together in the last minute, althought sauron really has to be that powerful

I didn’t think that he was all that powerful, because how often can you pull off a huge backup? Okay, the threats may have been a little much...but still. His twilight reduction is SIGNIFICANTLY less than the others so I thought I could make him a LITTLE bigger. And Sauron, tLotR is damage +2 as well. Plus, as someone pointed out, he’s not that splashable, and so should only be used in decks. |

He’s not splashable indeed, that’s a downside, but using it with a besiegers deck where you need to gather a hand with a lot of minions, he comes out cheap and big and adds lots of threats which will just add up to the bomb and make sure everyone is dead I liked it! |
