Errrrrm ok, whatever, i am aware of that. But kicking the pig is not as simple as interpreting a swear word as bad or not. Its an odd phrase that if you dont know what it means it sound mental!

Edit: Sorry mm now i really am spamming ur thread. My apologies.

To bring us back to topic: nice changes, and nice cards mm!

Have a GP partly for being so generous, but mainly for making cool DCs!

ok, thanks for the gp. and i really don’t mind spamming when it’s about a cool Cool phrase i used. lol. yes, a very american phrase, but "Let’s kick this pig" is RARELY EVER USED. like i know one person outside my family who uses it. (well, we also taught it to one of our friends in Mexico lol.)

SM: have you ever heard this phrase before?

anyways, i’ll think about your suggestions lem0n, for the most part i like the cards where they are. you make a good point about clarifying Landroval’s text. and i’d like to know what you all think about his ability?

should it discard a condition for two eagles exerting or discarding an eagle from hand, or should it be worded more like:

Exert an Eagle (or discard an Eagle from hand) and exert Landroval to discard a condition.

i’ll be posting more cards soon!

I like doing 3 cards at a time, so that will be how this whole DC expansion will go. so here’s three more!

1The Eagles are Coming! Gandalf
Condition • Support Area
When you play this condition add a Gandalf token here.
Each time the fellowship moves during the regroup phase, you may add a Gandalf token here.
Fellowship: Discard this condition to play an Eagle. That Eagle’s twilight cost is -1 for every token on this condition.
Regroup: Discard this condition and spot 2 Eagles to remove 1 for every token on this condition. You may draw a card.
"Then he lifted up his hands and cried in a loud voice ringing above the din: The Eagles are coming!"

2 Many Messengers Gandalf
Event • Maneuver
Spot an Eagle to reveal the top 5 cards of an opponent’s draw deck.
Reinforce a Gandalf token for each Shadow card revealed.
"The Eagles report that Orcs are gathering again from afar; but there is a hope..."

7 We Shall Outfly! Gandalf
Event • Fellowship
Toil 2.
If you can spot Gwaihir and Landroval, and neither is exhausted, the move limit for this turn is +1.
"A North wind blows, but we shall outfly it"

The adding bits needs to say Gandalf token all the time, otherwise it’s a bit meaningless. Also, this needs some serious cultural enforcement, because as it stands there isn’t a fellowship alive that couldn’t use that second ability. I suggest making it unique and then making it ’for each token’ which scans better anyway, and maybe up the cost to 1. Interesting though.

As it exerts, it could easily cost 0, or 1 with just spotting. Nice.

For each Eagle you exert when playing this, it is twilight cost -2.
If you can spot Gwaihir and Landroval, and neither is exhausted, the move limit for this turn is +1.

That’s crazy with Gwaihir’s ability, but it’s cool! My only question is did you mean to be able to exert Gwaihir and Landroval to play this card, ie. when do they have to be not exhausted?

thanks for the speedy review. definitely gold coming your way. i made some of the changes you suggested. We Shall Outfly! is meant to be able to exert gwaihir and landroval, but not until you exhaust them.

Nice. Maybe just toil 2. That way, instead of just "toiling" eagles, its a little less guarded.

i’m glad you liked the cards. i thought about toil 2, but that means i could exert any gandalf companion to reduce the cost. it’s an idea, but unless some other people agree, i’ll keep it how it is. thanks. gp.
