it was a good game. my Dwarf deck wasn’t tokens though. it was some sort of cycling/drawdeckscrew.
It was a VERY good game. basically, the game was so close, that he would have lost if he didn’t get the Elven Armaments out. it pretty much stopped all i could do for several sites.
excellent game! |

I assumed that it was, since you had Heavy Axe. I was waiting for you to play Run Until Found or Chamber of Records... |
I had to put something here. |

No, indeed. I was worried that you had me for a while, especially since you discarded Elven Armaments and Shelob.
Game Result
Shieldmaiden’s Men w/ Beast Minions
my
Dwarven Beasts w/ Corruption
My Dwarves set up perfectly in region 1, and Durin was a 16 strength at site 3. She was using Jarnsmid to throw off my burdens, but she eventually had to add some of her own with Gandalf’s text. I dropped Erland at site 3, and then battered her fellowship throughout region 2. My Dwarves didn’t take a wound until site 5, and I used Blood Runs Chill to knock out her support area. At site 6, I grabbed a couple of Underlings with Goblin Hordes, then used Bound To Its Fate to hand out the eleventh and final burden. Good game! |

Game Result
NappyKorn’s Archery w/ Nazzies
vs.
my Dwarven Beasts w/ Corruption
My deck got off to a rocky start, and his Elves handled my Orcs with ease. Durin beat up his Nazzies, and we both moved into region 2 with minimal damage. He used White Arrows of Lorien numerous times, and I decked out at site 7. With only one minion in my hand, he was 2 burdens shy of corruption, and I couldn’t touch him. I had to leave, but the win was his. Good game! |

Game Result
Shieldmaiden’s Rangers w/ Possessions
vs.
my Elvents w/ Ninja Gollum
This was a VERY fast game; my Elves didn’t show so much as a peep. She killed one of the twins at site 3, but her entire fellowship was exhausted at site 5. She threw down 2 pumped Uruks at site 4, and my Elves couldn’t take it. Galadriel was overwhelmed 16-7. Good game! |

Stupid time zones. No one’s available the times I play. Only when I have off work for some reason can I seem to catch anyone.
We have GOT to play some time, AP. |

Okay, don’t know how I’ll be at this reporting thing, but here it goes...
Anonymous Prodigy’s Noble Leaders with archery
vs.
my Elvents with wounding
My Uruks had a tough time keeping wounds on his freeps. They pumped up with Noble Leaders (which recharged often) to avoid wounds and when they did receive wounds, they healed rapidly. The deck cycled well, and everyone on his side was pretty well pumped up by site 4.
My fellowship took quite a pounding during the maneuver and archery phases of each turn. I was forced to use my RB as an archery absorber with burdens and wounds. Farewell To Lorien helped greatly in the earlier stages, but I couldn’t use it later, due to low resistance. At site 7 I knew I was going to have to run if I was to have any chance. So run I did. AP easily caught up with me, but I was still that one tiny step ahead. I think that I got lucky, as there didn’t seem to be as much archery at the last 2 sites as there was at previous ones. My fellowship barely squeaked by, losing an elven guardian, Gil-galad and Celeborn at the end. But Galadriel survived.
Well fought AP! Great game! |

She continues to get better and better. We’re all doomed!
I still contend that our last game was a draw, Ms. Maiden. |

Mr Ironfoot, you’re such a gentleman. However, I beg to differ. I didn’t have the guts to move during our last game, so I deserved to lose. That game did teach me a valuable lesson, though, and that’s what gave me the incentive to go for it this time.
But it’s so good of you to say that, much appreciated. |
