Very cool; maybe raise the cost to and give it toil 1.

Awesome! I would raise the cost to , but still a very nice card! |
I had to put something here. |

Well this makes for another first in the history of the Duos: four in one day! The reviews have come in all day long, and admittedly, the first couple Duos of the day were pretty dull, so why not?
Zzzzzzzz.....
These cards are NOT dull...at least, I don’t think so. What about you? Enjoy!

Hm...I picked up on how crucial threats were from your other cards...but all minions losing die and all minions winning should be getting stacked on Goblin Swarms...
You don’t know it yet, but this card is critical to the culture, especially in Lasting Alliances. They can use all the threats they can get, and there are few easier ways to add them.

Nope. Will not work. Unless you have minion dwarves. Have another way to get it into play.
Assuming that you change the spotting requirements, sweet card. You still need a forced march.
...like for cards like this one. |

Thanks for the reviews, all! I left Menacing Silence alone but made several changes to Rekindled to Fury. Let me know if you see anything else that needs tweaking.
Dáin’s DC Duos #107
A couple more goblins this time. One of them is big but boring, and the other is small but interesting. Enjoy!
Goblin Rabble
Minion • Orc
Strength: 11
Vitality: 3
Site: 4
Fierce.
While in a fierce skirmish, this minion gains hunter 1.
“They were aroused, alert, ready for anything.”
Goblin Gatekeeper
Minion • Orc
Strength: 9
Vitality: 2
Site: 4
While you can spot a unique Orc, this minion is damage +1.
While you can spot 2 possessions, this minion is strength +2.
While you can spot 4 possessions, this minion may not take wounds.
“...goblins in full armour with drawn swords sitting just inside the door, and watching it with wide eyes, and watching the passage that led to it.” |

So, you’re giving all these bonuses to a strength 7 minion? Make him like strength 10-12 and twilight cost .

Duly noted. I reduced his strength to 11, as mm recommended, where there seems to be a bit of a grey area. 11/3 minions range anywhere from to . I think, since he has no text besides fierce, that is appropriate. Am I just flat-out wrong?

Those are pretty frequent, though; I have a couple such minions myself. I thought this fit better: a cheap minion (that can swarm more easily) but also get huge if you play your cards right. |

Dáin’s DC Duos #108
Continuing with the theme of possessions.... Enjoy!
Goblin Whip
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +1
Bearer must be a or Orc.
This weapon may be borne in addition to 1 other hand weapon.
While you can spot a captured character in your support area, bearer gains hunter 1.
“...the goblins took out whips and whipped them with a swish, smack!, and set them running as fast as they could in front of them....”
•Marching To War
Condition • Support Area
Each Orc is strength +1 for each possession it bears.
At the end of the turn, remove a threat, discard a Orc, or discard this condition.
“Also he could see the glint of the moon on goblin spears and helmets, as long lines of the wicked folk crept down the hillsides from their gate and wound into the wood.” |
