Dáin’s DC Duos #133
Here’s the last of the set’s gear. Uh...yeah, not sure what else to say. Enjoy!
Númenórean Steelbow
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Strength +1
Bearer must be a Man.
Archery: If bearer is a knight, add a threat and discard a card from hand to make the fellowship archery total +1.
“In later days, in the wars upon Middle-earth, it was the bows of the Númenóreans that were most greatly feared.”
Númenórean Steed
Possession • Mount
Bearer must be a or Man. If bearer is a knight, he or she is strength +1.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may remove .
“...for in riding the Númenóreans, both men and women, took delight, and all the people of the land loved horses, treating them honourably and housing them nobly.”
Remember, in my sets, Men get a few knights among their ranks, too. I figured that their ancestoral ties with the Númenóreans made this make sense. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Powerful. Almost as powerful as Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow. But with that as a reference, I don’t think its overpowered.

Thanks for the reviews, all! I’ll make sure any first-time reviewers get their shiny reward.
Dáin’s DC Duos #134
Here’s a couple more powerful skirmish-boosters for those Númenóreans. Enjoy!
Meeting the Storm
Condition • Support Area
Toil 2.
Each Man is defender +1.
Each Orc and Man skirmishing a Man is strength -1.
At the start of the regroup phase, wound each Man or discard this condition.
“He gathered as large a force as he could, and taking command of it himself made ready as swiftly as might be....”
I know defender bonuses given en masse are a big no-no. But I wanted to see if I could make a balanced card that did it anyway. How’d I do?
War-hardened
Condition • Support Area
Each time a Man wins a skirmish and you cannot spot 3 tokens on this condition, you may exert that Man to add a token here.
Skirmish: Remove a token here to make a Man strength +2.
“With Isildur went his three sons... and his Guard of two hundred knights and soldiers, stern men of Arnor....”
Every now and then, we humble DC makers make a card that, humble as we try to be, we can’t help but smile about. This is one of those cards. I’m proud of it. It might be my favorite card I’ve made in ALL of my sets thus far. I don’t know WHY I like it so much, I just do. How about you? (Hey, that rhymes!) |

This card is awesome! I would love to pair this with my Anarion’s Events deck; there would be no need to include I Will Go. as soon as I can manage it.
