While you can spot a Orc, each Orc gains the culture and each Orc gains the culture.
Shadow: Spot 3 Orcs and discard this possession to play a Orc with twilight cost 2 or less from your discard pile.

Interesting, very interesting. I think this would probably result in the culture becoming more broken, but who knows? You’d have to try it to really see, I guess.

Engine. While you can spot a Besieger Orc, each Orc gains the culture and ’ Besieger’ and each Orc gains the culture and ’ Besieger’.
Regroup: Spot 3 Besiegers and discard this possession to take control of a site.

Holy cow! That would create some crazy combos. Besiegers would be all over the place!

Mounted Orcs cannot be exerted.

Each mount gains ’Bearer may be a Warg-rider (regardless of culture).’

Each mount gains ’Bearer must be strength 10 or less.’

Good job of trying to keep it balanced, but again, there’s little way of telling how you did without playtesting.

While you can spot an Uruk-hai (or Saruman), each Uruk-hai gains the and cultures.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to make an Uruk-hai strength +2.

Now THESE two cultures would work fine together, I think. Good stuff.

Shadow: Exert Smeagol or Gollum to transfer this possession to a minion.
Regroup: Exert bearer to transfer this possession to your support area.

Not sure if I like the idea of a Nazgul or Saruman, but since it’s unique, I guess it wouldn’t get TOO out of hand. Probably broken with some cards, but who knows? |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Most of these cards are probably broken with some combos or other (especially the / one), I stopped worrying about it a while back!

Thanks for your review.

A couple of good ones now:

  • Gimli, Elf-friend

Companion • Dwarf

Str: 6

Vit: 3

Res: 6

Archer.

While you can spot Legolas and another Elf, Gimli is strength +2.

  • Legolas, Friend of Dwarves

Companion • Elf

Str: 6

Vit: 3

Res: 6

Damage +1.

While you can spot Gimli and another Dwarf, Legolas is strength +2.

  • The Mouth of Sauron, Emissary of Mordor

Minion • Man

Str: 9

Vit: 3

Sit: 5

When you play the Mouth of Sauron, you may spot a culture to make him gain that culture until the end of the turn.

  • Grima, Servant of Saruman

Minion • Man

Str: 4

Vit: 3

Sit: 3

Lurker.

While you can spot 3 Men, each character of Grima’s culture is strength +1.

Shadow: Exert Grima to make each Man lose the culture and gain the culture until the end of the regroup phase.
