14 .The Balrog, Demon of Fire and Darkness Orc
Minion - Balrog
Strength: 17
Vitality: 5
Site: 5
Fierce. Damage +1.
To play, spot an Orc minion. While at an underground site, the Balrog is strength +3 and cannot be assigned to companions with strength 6 or less. Shadow: Exert the Balrog and remove 2 to replace the fellowship’s current site with another site from your adventure path.

this isn’t an elven ranger but...
maybe that combo is a little to good... but I like it anyway.

I think he’s balanced. But why only 4 vitality?

3 Raging Hosts Sauron
Condition * Support Area
To play, exert a Sauron minion.
While you can spot a threat, each Sauron minion is not roaming.
Skirmish: Discard this condition to make a Sauron minion strength +1 for each threat you can spot.
’All about the hills the hosts of Mordor raged.’

2 Wings of Shadow Wraith
Event * Maneuver
Spot a Nazgul and remove 3 threats to wound each unwounded companion. The move limit for this turn is -1 (to a minimum of 1).
The sun gleamed red, and under the wings of the Nazgûl the shadows of death fell dark upon the earth.

4 *Aragorn, Silent and Stern Gondor
Companion * Man
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
While Aragorn is at a battleground site, he is damage +1.
While Aragorn is at a plains site, he is strength +2.
While Aragorn is in region 3, he is defender +1.
Aragorn stood beneath his banner, silent and stern, as one lost in thought of things long past or far away; but his eyes gleamed like stars that shine the brighter as the night deepens.

4 *Gandalf, White and Cold Gandalf
Companion * Wizard
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
While Gandalf is at a battleground site, he is defender +1.
While Gandalf is at a plains site, he gains hunter 2.

The Power that drove them on and filled them with hate and fury was wavering, its will was removed from them; and now looking in the eyes of their enemies they saw a deadly light and were afraid.

4 No Business of His Gandalf
Event * Regroup
Exert a Gandalf wizard twice to remove all threats and make the move limit for this turn +1. If you do not move again, discard that wizard.
Then Gandalf, leaving all such matters of battle and command to Aragorn and the other lords, stood upon the hill-top and Called; and down to him came the great eagle, Gwaihir, The Windlord, and stood before him.

2 Land of Fire and Ruin Gandalf
Event * Manevuer
Exert a Gandalf wizard to replace the fellowship’s current site with a site from your adventure path. Then, you may add a threat to make each Gandalf companion strength +1 until the regroup phase.
And they passed over Udûn and Gorgoroth and saw all the land in ruin and tumult beneath them, and before them Mount Doom blazing, pouring out its fire.

Mountain.
When the fellowship moves to this site, add a threat for each wounded companion you can spot.

2 *Rage of the Mountain Sauron
Condition * Support Area
To play, exert a Sauron orc.
Each time the fellowship moves, remove 2 or discard this condition.
Each time the fellowship moves to a mountain site, you may exert each companion.
Each time the fellowship moves from a mountain site during the regroup phase, you may wound each companion.
Slow rivers of fire came down the long slopes towards them. Soon they would be engulfed. A rain of hot ash was falling.

I would raise the cost to 3. Cool card! Thumbs Up

"regrion" should be "region". Wink

I would drop the cost to 2 and make it strength +1. Thumbs Up

this kills IB dead, especially since they have no condition removal.

I like it! Good, but not overpowered compared to the newer Aragorns.

3 Fear the Light Gandalf

At first the alternate cost struck me as extremely strong, but there are lots of ways for the shadow to lower resistance.

4 No Business of His Gandalf
Event * Regroup
Discard a Gandalf wizard from play to remove all threats and make the move limit for this turn +1.
Then Gandalf, leaving all such matters of battle and command to Aragorn and the other lords, stood upon the hill-top and called; and down to him came the great eagle, Gwaihir the Windlord, and stood before him.

The price seems a bit steep to me: if you plan on using that extra move, it’s 4 in the regroup phase plus gandy’s gone (or radagast). I suggest

Whoa. this is really powerful, especially with the above site. You should up the moving penalty to 2 IMHO.

At the start of the maneuver phase, you may reveal the top card of your draw deck. You may replace it or put it beneath your deck.
Skirmish: Exert Glorfindel to reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an Elven card, you may exert a minion Glorfindel is skirmishing (or wound it if the fellowship is at a forest site).

Similar to the glorfindel we have, but nice twist on it.

2 Elven Ranger Elven
Companion-Elf
Strength: 5
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Ranger.
If the fellowship is at a forest site, this companion is an archer. At the start of each skirmish involving this companion, you may reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an Elven card, this companion is strength +2 until the regroup phase.

Cool, not sure about the archer bit though, bit too easy to get archer.

3 Elven Far-Seer Elven
Companion-Elf
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Ranger. Archer.
While at a forest site, this companion is twilight cost -1. If the fellowship is at a forest site, at the start of each skirmish involving this companion, exert each minion he is skirmishing.

Think this guy is a bit too strong for a generic elf guy. Remove his twilight reduction so he cant start or say exert him to exert the minion.
