Very nice. I like the trio thing. I think the Skirmish ability should be limited to once per phase, though. That could get very out of hand...


You mean lik stacking ranger’s cloak, Narsil, etc on him? Then playing invigorated? Hm...maybe add "Denethor may not heal until the regroup phase"?

Excellent idea. I like that bit of gametext. Still a potential bugger with high vitality, but nice.

I think the point of making those followers not add enduring is allowing them to be borne by current Gondor wraiths, giving them +4 for each wound. At least I think that was the intent.

The fact that its a regroup event allows you to play Aragorn during the regroup phase. I think I’ll add "and reconcile your hand".

Actually, its pretty easy to pull of with the new Boromir/Faramir/Denethor starting fellowship I engineered. And then a Boromir RB with Denethor and a twilight cost lowering Faramir? Its pretty easy to get them all in play.

Well...the point to it is swarm protection. If you run into Moria swarm or something, simply assign Faramir to a vitality 1 minion, kill him off, and discard another minion. And if you wait to play 2-3 at a time, drop enough minions to handle the swarm.

Or if your opponent plays a couple big guys, assing Faramir w/ coat of mail or heavy chain to the biggest guy, and get rid of the other.

One more card for Gondor. Its the Lords of the Great Rings set, so Gondor’s gotta have a ring!

It works, but it doesn’t quite strike me right. I dunno. I think some type of healing would be better, or a resistance boost. Strength? Just doesn’t seem right.

But the card does seem balanced, and there’s nothing wrong with it, per se. It’s a good card. It just doesn’t seem to fit right for the Ring of Barahir. Might just be me. *shrug*
