Continuing with the theme of possessions.... Enjoy!
Goblin Whip
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +1
Bearer must be a or Orc.
This weapon may be borne in addition to 1 other hand weapon.
While you can spot a captured character in your support area, bearer is fierce.
“...the goblins took out whips and whipped them with a swish, smack!, and set them running as fast as they could in front of them....”
Whoa! Major overpower alert! Cut the may be borne in addition to 1 other hand weapon.
 • Marching To War
Condition • Support Area
To play, remove a threat.
Each Orc is strength +1 for each possession it bears.
At the start of the regroup phase, remove 2 threats, discard each Orc (minimum 1), or discard this condition.
“Also he could see the glint of the moon on goblin spears and helmets, as long lines of the wicked folk crept down the hillsides from their gate and wound into the wood.”
Major underpower alert. Who’s gonna load up their Orcs with possessions when they just get discarded? Cut the drawback. |
-Trade With Me
Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

How so? Which part is overpowered? It’s just a simple +1 strength boost and occasional fierceness. So which part is bad?

Okay, I can see that. (Though it’s much better when they can bear the whip and another weapon.) Which drawbacks should I cut?
How about this?

So it’s the fierceness you don’t like. Okay. How about this?

Okay. Both cards changed accordingly. for the quick feedback.
If someone else reviews and doesn’t like the "in addition to 1 other hand weapon" part, I’ll do something else with it. Fair enough? |

To play, spot 3 minions.
Each time the fellowship moves, you may add a threat for each minion you can spot (limit 3).
Regroup: Discard this condition to add a threat.
“‘Careful now, or this way will lead you to worse things.’”
Pretty cool. I’ll reserve further judgement until I see how much you have dealing with threats. Based on the card below, however, it’s twisted.
DáinIronfoot wrote: • Rekindled to Fury
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot a Dwarf or 3 minions in your discard pile.
Response: If a minion is killed, remove a threat to make each minion of the same race strength +1 until the end of the turn.
Regroup: Discard this condition and remove X threats to take X minions into hand from your draw deck or discard pile.
“Tidings they had gathered in secret ways; and in all the mountains there was a forging and an arming.”
I think the wording needs to change. As worded, you would have to spot the Dwarf in your discard pile, which I don’t think is what you intended. By offsetting the other spotting requirement with paranthesis, you wouldn’t have this problem.

Fierce.
“They were aroused, alert, ready for anything.”
Simple enough. Maybe hunter 1 while at an underground site or if it is in a fierce skirmish?

While you can spot a unique Orc, this minion is damage +1.
While you can spot 2 possessions, this minion is strength +2.
While you can spot 4 possessions, this minion may not take wounds.
“...goblins in full armour with drawn swords sitting just inside the door, and watching it with wide eyes, and watching the passage that led to it.”
Cool. Though fierce would match your current strategy more than damage +1.

I’ve always wondered why Decipher has never made whips (though, thinking along that line, there is a lot of things I have wondered about Decipher). This is an awesome card.

I would add something that deals with the move limit or each time the fellowship moves. It’s a little underpowered as is. Only a little, though. |

Hunter 1 seems more suited to Orcs than fierce, so I’d stick with the hunter version. |
