 Riddling Talk
Event • Maneuver
To play, spot Bilbo (or 2 Hobbits).
Riddle. Choose an opponent and name a number. Then, reveal 3 random cards from their adventure deck. If the named number matches the number of sites with a shadow number of 1 or less, they may replace a site on the site path with a site from their adventure deck. If it does not, you may make a minion strength -4 until the regroup phase.
No dragon can resist the fascination of riddling talk...

make it -3.
 A Fourteenth
Event • Skirmish
If Bilbo is not assigned to a skirmish, add his strength to a Dwarf.
’Just let anyone say I chose the wrong man or the wrong house, and you can stop at thirteen and have all the bad luck you like.’
H1 R 243
to that of a dwarf.
 Burglarious Proceedings
Event • Regroup
Spot Bilbo and exert a Dwarf (or another Hobbit) to make an opponent discard one of their cards from play.
’Silly time to go practising pinching and pocket-picking...’
H1 R 251
make it cost 0
 • Fond of Visitors
Condition • Support Area
When you play this condition, add a token to it.
Each time you play a event, you may reinforce a token.
Fellowship: Remove 2 tokens from this condition and spot Bilbo (or 2 companions) to heal a companion.
’Now we are all here!’ said Gandalf, looking at the row of thirteen hoods... and his own hat hanging on the pegs.

With such remarkable agreement, I don’t have much choice but do what you suggested, so I have!
Thanks, and it’s good to know that we all agree on some things sometimes.
Here’s some other cool cards:
Attercop and Tomnoddy
Event • Skirmish
Force all opponents to skip their next action in a skirmish involving a Hobbit. If that Hobbit is the Ring-bearer, each shadow player may discard 2 shadow cards from hand to prevent this.
... no spider has ever liked being called Attercop, and Tomnoddy of course is insulting to anybody.
H1 R 244
Bebother These Dwarves
Event • Skirmish
Spot Bilbo to make a Dwarf strength +3 and damage +1
Bilbo rushed along the passage, very angry, and altogether bewildered and bewuthered - this was the most awkward Wednesday he ever remembered.
H1 R 245
Throwing Stones
Event • Maneuver
Exert a Hobbit and another or companion to exert a minion (or wound it if that minion has less vitality than that Hobbit).
... indeed he could do lots of things besides blowing smoke-rings, asking riddles and cooking that I haven’t had time to tell you about.

Bearer must be a companion.
Limit 1 per bearer.
Each minion skirmishing this companion is strength +2.
A sudden understanding... welled up in Bilbo’s heart: a glimpse of endless unmarked days without light or hope of betterment.

Not bad, not bad. I think it should be "each opponent" instead, though.

I think it should either exert (or wound if the minion has less vitality) or cost or , as it’s pretty powerful.

I’d prevent the Ring-bearer from having this, as that resistance +2 would be HUGE on one of the Hobbit RBs. |

Four words, Salt from the shire! Plus, if I made in an unbound hobbit, it would be useless in block, as pretty much the only hobbit featured is Bilbo. Notice the ’pretty much’...
I’ll tone it down, though.
Thanks all.

Change the last sentence to "shadow cards from hand". I’d also change it to say "Spot a hobbit to prevent skirmish events or skirmish special abilities from being used during a skirmish involving that hobbit." Otherwise it’s like wasted space, you use it to make them skip their action, but then it comes back to you and you pass, they can still do an action anyways. Not to write the cards for you, I just think it should be worded that way or it’s an easy for the shadow player.

Cool! The drawback balances the low cost and the resistance boost. |

I’m not sure you’re right. I was under the impression that if the Free Peoples player and the Shadow players skipped all their actions in a row, the phase ended. I read it as, they all have to skip, then you skip, so the phase ends. Can people back one of us up on this?
