Condition * Support Area
To play, spot Legolas and Gimli.
Tokens here cannot be removed or reinforced.
Each time Gimli wins a skirmish, add a Dwarven

token here. Each time Legolas wins a skirmish, add an Elven

token here.
While you can only spot one more Dwarven

token than Elven

tokens here, Legolas and Gimli are strength +2.
’There was a battle here three nights ago,’ said Gimli, ’and here Legolas and I played a game that I won only by a single orc. Come and see how it was!’

*Grim Dunadan Gondor

Companion * Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Ranger.
While skirmishing a non-hunter minion, Grim Dunadan is damage +1 and hunter 2.
’Stout men and lordly they are, and the Riders of Rohan look almost as boys beside them; for they are grim men of face, worn like weathered rocks for the most part...’

*Merry, Gifted With Good Fortune Rohan

Companion * Hobbit
Strength: 5
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
While you can spot Theoden, Merry is strength +1.
While you can spot Eomer, Merry is damage +1.
While you can spot Eowyn, Merry cannot take more than one wound in each skirmish.
’Rise now, Meriadoc, esquire of Rohan of the household of Meduseld!’ he said. ’Take your sword and bear it unto good fortune!’

*Merry’s Sword, Brightblade Rohan

Possession * Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Merry.
Each time Merry wins a skirmish, you may heal a Rohan

companion.

Remove the unecessary "each". Funny card though! Really have to work at it to keep it balanced. Great stuff!

Wow, make it hunter 1 or 2, 3 is insane. But sweet.

each legolas and gimli? cut the each, and how would you keep track of the tokens methinks...maybe put them on separate sides..

Good cards, but is there any point in making someone gain hunter against only non-hunter minions? You might as well make it a strength boost.

Also, I agree with DI on the Merry, a Rohan

Merry would just be awesome!

Well, I’ll consider it. It would sort of stop any card that requires a Rohan

and

companion, though.

A Thousand Spears Rohan

Event * Maneuver
Spot a Rohan

companion to reveal the top card of a shadow player’s draw deck. If the twilight cost is less than 4, make each Rohan

companion strength +1 until the regroup phase. If the twilight cost is more than 4, exert each minion.
A thousand spears had indeed already ridden away at night; but still there would be some five hundred more to go with the king, for the most part men from the fields and dales of Westfold.

Ranger’s Steed Gondor

Possession * Mount
Strength: +1
Bearer must be a ranger.
While skirmishing a roaming minion, bearer is damage +1.
Regroup: Exert bearer and spot a roaming minion to draw 2 cards and discard 2 cards from hand.
Their horses were strong and of proud bearing...

*Roheryn, Dunadan Steed Gondor

Possession * Mount
Resistance: +1
Bearer must be a Gondor

ranger. If you play this possession on Aragorn, its twilight cost is -2.
While you can spot 3 hunter companions (besides bearer), bearer gains hunter 1 (or hunter 2 if bearer is Aragorn).
One stood there without a rider, Aragorn’s own horse that they had brought from the North; Roheryn was his name.

Raystar Brooch Gondor

Possession
Resistance: +1
Bearer must be a Gondor

man. While bearer bears a cloak, bearer is strength +1.
Response: If a shadow card would make you discard any number of cards from hand, prevent that. Then, you may draw a card. Discard this possession.
...nor did their riders bear any badge or token, save only that each cloak was pinned upon the left shoulder by a brooch of silver shaped like a rayed star.
