I’d probably rephrase the first ability: If The Balrog did not lose a skirmish... but it’s basically the same. I like it, but he might be too useful at certain sites and too useless at others. Also I think he should be 14.

The Balrog has always had site 4, but never mind. Great background!

Too much text. I would have left it at the second ability, but the twilight thing is really cool!

While The Balrog is at an underground site, it is fierce.

Again, too much text and would have left him with the last ability and the fierce clause. I also think that choosing 2 threats or 2 burdens as one of the get-out clauses is nicer to read, but interesting card.

Wow, Thranduil’s RUBBISH! And to think he ripped his subtitle off the encyclopedia of arda because he was too lazy to look through the book! Razz

Again, The Balrog’s site number is usuall 4, but this guy is ROCK! I might even have taken out the limit! And I think his cost should be 14, just because a Balrog with 13 seems a little weird.

Nice one! Probably would have made it Wizard or Gandalf Wizard.

Balrog corruption! I’d like to see you pull this one off!

Would have made the underground also work only in region 2, and because he’s enduring would have either made him not fierce or at least 14! Nice stuff though.

Where’s the slime? Really cool card. Might have added another cost to the discard ability however.

Eh, I figured slime = messy = able to get rid of possessions and such. But I was really hoping to find a picture online of the Slimerog. I know there’s a sketch on the TTT quad-disc set... I really wish they did that part of the fight.

I will vote later.
