what is the limit +4 for? the amount of strength the exertion gives, or the number of times he can exert? and it needs a phase. but i think i agree with DáinIronfoot. maybe you can make it wraith oriented.
but if you want to keep it with strength, this is what i was thinking:
•Ring of Barahir, Heirloom of Gondor Gondor
Artifact • Ring
Bearer must be Aragorn.
At the start of the maneuver phase, you may exert Aragorn to make a companion strength +1 until the regroup phase, for each free-peoples culture you can spot.
regroup: discard this artifact to heal Aragorn.

that way, yo can give any companion the strength bonus, it only can be used once a site, and it can heal Aragorn. but it would be cool if it was wraith oriented. |

All right, I completely changed it. I wanted to stay away from the healing thing so one Ring of Barahir doesn’t overshadow the other, but I think I found a way for it to be more deck-oriented. Old ring, good for some decks, new ring, good for other decks.
Wait a minute...endless loop here. Exert Aragorn to heal himself and someone else...lemme fix that... |

At the start of your turn, you may exert Aragorn to heal another companion (or two companion if you can spot four races).

"...or another two companions..."
Much better. Like you said, it works in decks the other Ring of Barahir might not.
And I think you can probably reduce the cost to . Yes, this one has a resistance boost the original lacks, but it also requires exerting whereas the other one does not. |

well, it’s interesting. i like how it is like the LOTR story, but it is rather confusing. plus, it costs , one exertion, and an extra skirmish phase with faramir. but it only works when there are at least 2 minions (of differing strength) and to really be good, faramir needs to win the skirmish. all in all, it’s pretty balanced, but i wouldn’t use it. |

Exert Denethor and assign a minion to skirmish Faramir. Begin a skirmish phase involving Faramir to suspend the maneuver phase. At the end of that skirmish, discard a minion with strength less than the minion skirmishing Faramir. Resume the maneuver phase

you said you wanted another review so, its very strange. make it a generic gondor companion instead of either faramir or denethor. otherwise I think it is OK |

the problem is when is TCG ever like the story? Sam beating the balrog? Suaron killing gandalf? Aragorn fighting shelob?
but the card is to selective at the moment. though one of them is fine 2 is just to much. |
