Blarg. It only removes one now, so should she skirmish a weak fierce minion or something, it could pay off.
I see what you’re getting at, though. That’s why it’s like an unexpected bonus should you pull it off somehow. Again, the resistance thing is the focus.
Should I make her ability remove two burdens, or a burden and a threat, or something like that? |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Alright, reviews seem REALLY tough to come by since Bilbo. So, s to anyone who goes back and reviews any cards from Bilbo on. I think the cards prior to that are settled, but since then.... |

Resistance +1
Aid - Add a burden.
Bearer must be a Hobbit.
When you transfer The Gaffer to Sam or Rosie Cotton, heal bearer.
Bearer is strength +1 for each tale you can spot (limit +4).
“‘Elves and Dragons! Cabbages and potatoes are better for me and you. Don’t go getting mixed up in the business of your betters, or you’ll land in trouble too big for you.’”
Cool!

While you can spot Sam, both he and Rosie Cotton are resistance +2.
Each time Rosie Cotton wins a skirmish, remove a burden.
Each time Rosie Cotton loses a skirmish, exert Sam or add 2 burdens.
“‘Don’t worry, Sam. Rosie knows an idiot when she sees one.’”
Maybe add muster? |
I had to put something here. |

That’s a good idea. If I do that, is it okay if I take that weak "winning skirmishes" ability? I don’t want to have TOO much, lest she overshadow Rosie Cotton, Barmaid.
As promised, have a . See any older cards that could use tweaking? |

Well, yeah. But as you’ve pointed out before, you never want to overshadow older versions of cards. |

Cool, but maybe a bit too powerful. Healing and strength +4?
Oh, and as for Rosie herself:

Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 2
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 7

Sam Ring-bearer fun! She’d be really good if you could get her powerful... maybe a deck that uses Everyone Knows? |

Yeah, I thought it might be. How could I fix that? Maybe go back to 2 burdens for the aid cost? Or a burden and , perhaps?

Yeah, maybe.
Should I keep her winning skirmishes ability or drop it in favor of muster? Or could I even do both without overshadowed Rosie Cotton, Barmaid?
Thanks for the review. as promised.
Anyone else have comments on these or older cards, like Fatty Bolger? |

Now THAT is the best idea I have heard yet! Thanks!
