Basically, with a very little setup, it allows the shadow player to discard easterling dispatcher by transferring Pavise off of it with strange looking men, stack it (and other minions critical to the loop) on the new Armor possessions and then play them back out again all in the maneuver phase. With the right set up it can add a ton of twilight and allow you to play pretty much every minion in your deck for a perfect swarm of the Free People’s player. |

thank you. so essentially X’ing SLM would basically solve the loop. |

Possibly. You’d have to read the entire Decipher thread because I really don’t remember. I know that it can still work if the Easterling Dispatcher is x-ed though. Pavise and Strange Looking Men seem to be the major keys since they allow you to kill/discard your minions for the stacking. |

The whole thing revolves around shuffling your pavises off Sunland Guard with Strange Looking Men getting your guys killed and stacking on Ceremonial Armor.
One Sunland Guard with a Pavise, Strange Looking Men with Pavise and a Sunland Guard on a possession.
Exert Sunland Guard, play the other. Repeat until first guard is exhausted, swap pavise to second guard with SLM, first one dies and gets stacked on Ceremonial Armor.
Pull him back off with second Guard.
When SLM has one exertion left, swap pavise off him to a random guy, play him back with Sunland Guard, and grab his pavise back.
Continue until you run out of twilight or all minions on possessions are played. I think that’s how it works..... |

Maybe Strange-looking Men should be R-listed and Ceremonial Armor should be X-listed..... |
I had to put something here. |

exactly, because what other man decks need SLM to function? as corvus said pavise is a necessity in many ways, but have you ever heard someone say without strange looking men my deck would suck? |
