Skirmish: If at a mountain or underground site, exert Ancient Chieftain to wound a companion it is skirmishing (and add a burden if that companion is the Ring-bearer).
“Diving under Aragorn’s blow with the speed of a striking snake he charged into the Company and thrust with his spear straight at Frodo.”
I would cut his strength to 9.

Each other  archer gains hunter 2.
Shadow: Exert Archer Commander to play a  archer from your draw deck.
Had it not been for the fellowship having a certain mithril-coat and a very skilled archer of their own, the goblin archers may have finished Frodo and his companions before they ever reached the Bridge of Khazad-dûm.

Okay, but I’m giving him a hunter 1 to compensate.

nice! kinda overshadows the other one though...
A bit, though hunter companions really shut him down. Still, though, think I should change it to hunter 1 (or strength +1) instead? |

I now think he’s far too complicated. I’d take out the second set of brackets (not quite sure what it’s doing there anyway, unless you have a strategy going) and take out his hunter bonus or raise his cost. Orc War Band is still a hell of a lot worse than this guy.

Should definitely be hunter 1, and take out his original bonus changing the text to ’Each archer...’ He rocks though!

I’d make one of the abilities work at a battleground, and the other work at an underground. But that’s mostly a personal preference. Might make it strength 6 or 7.
