Hadhod is better now, but I’d change the extra text to: While you can spot a Dwarf (or 2 Dwarves which is possibly a better idea) Hadhod’s twilight cost is -2. There’s not point giving him the -1 when you’ll only use him when spotting a Dwarf, and you’ll obviously put him in your starting fellowship, so you can also lose that bit.

Tale.
Each time the fellowship moves to an underground site, spot a Dwarf to take a artifact or tale into hand from your discard pile.
“‘We drove out orcs from the great gate....We have taken the twenty-first hall of North end to dwell in....Balin has set up his seat in the Chamber of Mazarbul.’”
I agree with lem0n!

While you can spot more Dwarves than minions, each minion is strength -1 for each of the following that is true: it is skirmishing a companion; it is skirmishing a Dwarf; it is a minion or an Orc; it is at an underground site.
At the start of each Shadow phase, each Shadow player may draw a card.
“‘Some spoke of Moria: the mighty works of our fathers that are called in our own tongue Khazad-dûm; and they declared that now at last we had the power and numbers to return.’”
What’s the point of the skirmishing a companion clause? Who cares about strength when you’re not skirmishing, and when are you not going to be skirmishing a companion? I’d take it out and raise it’s cost and it’s still a powerful card. Funnily enough, this also helps the RoS Wargs considerably!

Tale.
While a Dwarf skirmishes a minion, that Dwarf is strength +1.
“‘Moria - Khazad-dûm! Greatest of the dwarf-halls - What I would not give to look upon its treasures!’”
I know, I know...another reprint. But with being so big again in this set and Lasting Alliances, I couldn’t imagine NOT having a card like this.
I can, it’s rubbish! If you’re going to reprint it, I wouldn’t mind a new lore...

Tweaked Hadhod again. If the ranger thing makes no sense, it’s because you haven’t played The Third Age.
Also made the recommended changes to The Return to Khazad-dûm and Wonder of the Northern World. Thanks, guys!
I’ll see what I can come up with for a new lore for Stairs of Khazad-dum. |

Surely if you were going by the Third Age it would be ’Spot a knight and a ranger’ or ’Spot 2 Men’?

Nah, because Hadhod traveled only with the ranger Elegost before encountering Berethor and his growing company. In most cases, people will just use him in a Dwarf-heavy deck and spot the 2 Dwarves anyway, but I figured the ranger part was a nice touch and a little nod to his source. |

Good point. It’s a long time since I played that game!

Here’s another to tide you over for the next big posting. Enjoy!

Maneuver: If the fellowship is at an underground site, exert a Dwarf to reveal the top card of your draw deck or draw a card. You may exert each Dwarf in this way only once each turn.
Regroup: If the fellowship is at a mountain or underground site, exert a Dwarf and discard this condition to play the fellowship’s next site.

The maneuver ability needs a limit, espically with the card drawing. It could get out of hand. The Regroup thing is neat. |
