2•Gloin, Firemaker Dwarven
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance:6
Damage +1.
Each Dwarf is resistance +1.
Fellowship: Exert Gloin to heal another Dwarf.

2•Oin, Firemaker Dwarven
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
Each time the fellowship moves during the regroup phase, you may spot another Dwarf to remove a burden.
Fellowship: Exert Oin to remove a threat.

And I’ll give you one of the bonus cards.

8 •The Battle of Five Armies Dwarven Elven Gandalf Moria Orc
Condition • Support Area
This condition is both a Free Peoples and Shadow card and may be played as either.
Each Dwarf is damage +1.
Each minion skirmishing an Elf is strength -2.
Each Gandalf Man is strength +2
Each Moria minion is fierce.
Each mounted Orc minion gains hunter 2.

Instead of being printed in each separate culture, this card has all the culture symbols on each card.

He’s awfully good: I think I’d either lower his strength to 5, or raise it to 7 and raise his cost to 3.

Ditto here...probably 5 strength for him, though. Gloin was more of a fighter. Oh, and make his second ability spot another Dwarf, I think.

And check your PMs. Rolling Eyes

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I think the Moria one is too powerful. Either make it conditional (like, at underground sites) or do something else. Oh, and capitalize "Man". Neat cards, though. GP

Hm...I’m not sure how that would work. I don’t want to impose any conditions on it, but what else can I give Moria?

Hmmm...what could Moria use other than vitality...?

Perhaps hunter? Or even fierce if you feel like being REALLY evil. Twisted Evil

Also, in hindsight, I’d switch the order of the Gandalf and Elven "abilities" to match the order their culture icons are listed.

How about damage +1?

I feel evil today. Twisted Evil

Sure, but IF you do that, just put it on the same line as the Dwarves. And for that matter, you could combine the Gandalf Man and Orc Orc lines. Save on space.

Oh, and I just noticed the cost! I think you can bring that down some, since it potentially benefits both players.

I was kidding.

Man, take it from a guy who plays Moria swarm. If you give every Moria minion an automatic damage +1, it would be CATASTROPHIC! The card would be banned the day it released. Even worse than vitality +1.

I changed Orc to hunter. I wanted each ability to be distinctive and follow the trend of that culture.

Actually, I might make the Gandalf Men gain hunter 2 (since they lack hunter entirely) and the Orc Orcs strength +2, but that may just be me. Oh, and you could probably lump in Gandalf Wizards with the Gandalf Men, since Gandalf was there and VERY involved.

Much better, either way.
