You may play this minion any time you could play a maneuver or skirmish event.
When you play this minion, you may exert it to draw a card (or 2 cards if you can spot 3 Isengard trackers).
Saruman’s minions caught up with the fellowship with astounding speed.

Interesting... but I like it. Maybe... make it cost 2 or fierce.

When you play this minion at a forest or river site, you may exert it to make an Isengard tracker gain hunter 2 until the regroup phase.

Awesome! Again, with the plays-during-skirmish ability, these could do with fierce.

Neat. A nasty little suprise. Probably needs fierce like the others, and I doubt it’d be overpowered with one more strength. But just my thoughts.

I’m reluctant to make them all fierce, EL, and a couple of the below cards are the reason why. You’re just one step ahead of me. Razz Enjoy!

1 Enemies At Hand Isengard
Event • Skirmish
Spot 3 Uruk-hai (or 2 Isengard trackers) to make an Isengard tracker fierce and gain hunter 1 until the regroup phase.
“‘Yet who knows what may happen in these evil days, now that Minas Tirith no longer holds secure the passages of Anduin.’”

3 Uruk Harasser Isengard
Minion • Orc
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Site: 4
Tracker.
Each time this minion wins a skirmish, you may exert it to make an Isengard tracker fierce until the regroup phase.
“...the cries came louder, but fainter now and desperately the horn was blowing.”

4 Uruk Marauder Isengard
Minion • Orc
Strength: 9
Vitality: 3
Site: 4
Tracker.
Each time this minion wins a skirmish, you may exert it to discard a possession or condition borne by a companion in that skirmish (and add 1 if that skirmish was a fierce skirmish).
“Fierce and shrill rose the yells...and suddenly the horn-calls ceased.”

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Doesnt make sense. Is this an event or is it missing a phase? If its a condition its broken. If its an event id make it fierce plus something like hunter 2 or +1 strength.

Sound. Slightly odd wording on the parenthesis which seems a little pointless and irrelevant but ok.

Whoops. ’Twas supposed to be an event. Fixed now, and tweaked as you suggested.

Hmm i wasnt expecting it to be skirmish, more like maneuver. If its skirmish it needs to be better like Savagery to Match Their Numbers.

Ah, but I was ALSO keeping in mind Hunt Them Down!, which costs a lot more and takes place in the more iffy maneuver phase. Trying to find a good balance....

Also, Savagery to Match Their Numbers IS on the R-list, I believe....

But hunt them down doesnt require 3 uruks. Your balance is fine just think it could be a little better. Hey ho its still useable.

The last batch of cards was fine, except that I felt that playing them in the maneuver/skirmish phase needed a cost or it’s too useful. Maybe exerting an Isengard tracker or spotting a couple or removing twilight or something - I just feel you should work for it, especially as you’re likely to have more twilight in the maneuver/skirmish phase than you would in the shadow phase.

Also, just because you have cards that make trackers fierce doesn’t mean you can’t make your trackers fierce. Using these cards and the cards before is too combo-dependent: if you play these trackers in the skirmish phase, they’re useless unless you make them fierce. Maybe you should remove the playing in the skirmish phase altogether and only in maneuver (or make some play in only one or the other or some in both etc.), or make some of them fierce or something.

Other than that, the adding 1 seems a bit out of place on the last card, but they’re all fine.

I see... nice! Maybe let it gain hunter 2, though, like any other pump would, but since it has fierce, too...

I’d still let the minion gain hunter 2. Trackers are sort of weak, and besides, there are other events *cough*ViolentHurl*cough* that give a +2 and Keyword.

Neat.

I still say that even with some of these new cards, you could make some of the minions fierce. Just a thought.
